Tony Khan made the announcement and backed it up on tonight's episode of Collision, marking the end of the worst 2 years of AEW under Punk's tyrannical mood swings. He was nothing but a headache that eventually was too much to deal with. The biggest merchandise mover and biggest name associated with the company found a way to make the most financially successful week in the short history of AEW all about him. Coupled with so many other issues, that's why he needed to go. If it wasn't a fight with Jack Perry, it would have been someone else eventually. Punk is a ticking time bomb, or pipe bomb. The Drone footage that is central to the Prosecution's case in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial has been revealed as being even more suspect than initially thought.
