This is some footage of Soul Fighter on the Sega Dreamcast.
I bought this game brand new back in the day for $5. This game isn't that great. It's not as bad as it's made out to be if you can learn the game and look past it's flaws, but it's still not a great game by any stretch. I guess I could say it's playable, but flawed.
The worst part about the game is that it could have been so much better with just a little tweaking. The controls are overly complicated, you feel like you're running on ice, and the camera is often times dead set on giving you the worst possible view, and that's just to name a few. The biggest flaw with this game is that a two player mode would have instantly made it 100 times better, and yet it's only one player. Even if nothing else about the game was different, the ability to play the game with a friend would have made the other flaws easier to overlook.
As it stands, I still enjoy playing this from time to time, but it's definitely a bottom tier DC game. Far from the worst game I've ever played, but also far from the best. As I said, it's playable, learnable, but flawed.
Those looking for a good Beat 'em up on the DC, look at Dynamite Cop, and even Zombie Revenge. I'd also suggest the Smash Pack for Streets of Rage 2, but they messed up the sound in the smash pack thus making the genensis ports on it inferior to the originals.
