Mixing can be a delicate dance, especially when instruments fight for space in the same frequency range. Luckily, there are plugins that can help! Today, we'll compare three popular premium options for addressing frequency masking & a free alternative.
All 4 plugins use spectral processing to identify clashing frequencies. They then employ dynamic EQ or similar techniques to carve space for one instrument by subtly dipping the other's level in those specific areas.
In this video I compare in general some features, cpu performance, price & of course the tools in action.
