Smoke from the Fires in Washington
The fires in California, Oregon and Washington have blown in the smoke across the states and I am showing you what my area looks like for the past few days. The fires, I am told are at least 100 miles away from me, so I am safe, except for the smoke. I stay inside as much as possible, but we do have to go to town three times a week for shopping and breakfast with dad and take him to see his wife.
There will be a part two video coming out of the drive to town in the smoke and am looking forward to you all stopping by to see the video.

Working on my Cuckoo Clock, I hung it up after cleaning and oiling but would not tick. Here I will show you how to level the movement in the clock easily. You just bend one wire behind the pendulum wire and I will show you where the wire is and how to bend it.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.

Total Remodel of Roy's Old House. The siding is getting changed to Hardiplank Siding and we are fixing the Dry Rot and Termite damage as we go. This house was added on several times and years ago someone put block foundation under this house with no Ventilation so the humidity could not escape and just invited termites and dry rot.
