My first time using closed cell spray foam was almost a complete disaster! Luckily, I got the hang of it once I wasn't crouching in the loft, lol. It was a bit intimidating to continually spray without stopping longer than 30 seconds, per the instructions. The main take away for me was to have a *complete* path cleared for both myself AND the equipment for the **entire** duration. Hopefully I will be able to move on to the wall boards soon! God willing. :folded_hands:

This was just a fun side project to take a break from the daily monotony on the homestead. My rustic door bell only took about an hour, but it was really nice creating something from scratch with recycled materials AND having the mental break from all the challenges I have been facing lately. More on that later, so stay tuned!
Hope you are having a great week, take care, see you in the next one...
Mother Nature has kept me on my toes this year! The 30-40 mph winds are at the top of the list. When I heard a loud gust of wind in the #garden I was not prepared for what I was about to see: the bean panel lying on top of my new dwarf nectarine tree :(
One of the limbs was damaged in the form of a small split, but luckily it didn't go all the way through.
Thankfully, there are numerous ways to save and/or graft a branch these days.
What is your tried and true method for saving a broken limb on your plants or trees? Comment below!

While the panning left and right need some work, I feel like my Potensic Dreamer Pro drone skills on the homestead are coming along!
Hopefully nobody is prone to motion sickness. ;)
And now that I figured out where the micro SD card was hiding I replaced the original with a 128 GB card, which is the max. There's no stopping us now!

As I get settled in at the new homestead, Whispering Pines, I can't help but purchase new *plants*! This is the first year I bought lemon balm, so I'm looking forward to the many uses I have read about.
What new plants have you added to your garden this year?
Take care, see you in the next one...

Things seem to take 3 times longer when you're living between four different tiny structures! Oooof.
I have things dialed in as tight as they can be under the circumstances. Hopefully that will be changing soon though ;) Stay tuned!
Take care and God Bless. See you in the next one...
All this hand washing of my laundry lately, I think my forearms are getting a great workout! LOL. There is a reason behind the madness that I will post about shortly, so stay tuned! Take care, see you in the next one...

When I first began the sweet potato slip experiment I thought I would be getting a decent yield this Fall. However, between the short growth time that I allowed for the slips, combined with our intense summer heat of the desert, I believe that is what caused the demise of the crop. Live and learn, right!?! **How long do you grow your sweet potato slips prior to planting? Comment below.**

Just a raw, quick video while I unload another U-haul truck of my belongings from the old place in Nevada.
This week, as I continue setting up basic infrastructure and unpacking, I begin to realize it is the little things that you miss the most, and appreciate the most, especially once they are restored to your daily routine. Like a simple dish rack!
Don't forget to hit the Follow and Like button, it really helps out the channel, and it's **FREE**!
