Retevis sent me the Retevis RA25 for a Black Friday Promotion. I did not feel comfortable with a review at the time. Over the past month, I have worked with Retevis and we came up with one or two solutions to the RA25 for people looking to have a GMRS radio that cannot mistakenly transmit out of band.
This is the amazon link to the retevis radio - RA25: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08NWMDMST . It should be noted this is a Retevis Affiliate link, I don't make commissions off this .

I did a little spoof of @TheNotaRubicon 's intro (in good humor). I suggest if you want to know about GMRS, you watch his videos; as he has tested plenty of radios and has way more knowledge on GMRS.

No hate with Modifications here or opening your radio, but there are some people who wish to keep the radio locked down, and I understand why.
This is what I've done to try to make the GMRS Experience, a little more friendly .

The Baofeng UV-16 -
A radio which online has many different advertised features, but you wont find it on the official website for Baofeng, why? Because this radio is a fake Baofeng, but it still is a Baofeng in the sense that it's using Baofeng Internals.
Join me as we overview this radio, talk about what the radio is capable of and my testing and what my overall opinion is for 33.00. Note: When I purchased the radio, it was about $33.00 but the price has now increased to 36$ USD.

This is just a quick demonstration of the VFO knob with the Xiegu X6100. The foam piece between the Chassis and the VFO is causing friction which makes the knob feel gritty.
I feel this is important information in case you are considering purchasing a X6100. Please let me know if you should have any questions.
