I-90 Freeway Standstill: Bug Out Route by TheUrbanPrepper
After driving back home from Montana, I got caught up in some road construction on Highway 90 in Snoqualmie Pass (Cascade Mountains). All cars came to a complete standstill, and people were turning off their engines and just waiting outside of their cars.
This made me start to re-think a few of my bug out routes in case of an emergency. I had originally designed them in my pre-YouTube days and I think they are due for a revamping. After I am finished with my new BOB project, I am hoping you guys and gals can help me with my new bug out route planning. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Du7xGb6MOX4
This is my NFC Championship Gameday experience at CenturyLink Field, where I watched the Seattle Seahawks have a dramatic come from behind victory over the Green Bay Packers. They are now headed to Super Bowl 49 to face the New England Patriots.
This is part 2 of my Gameday EDC (Every Day Carry): NFC Championship Edition) video series. In part 1, I show what gear I bring with me when watching an NFL game at CenturyLink Field. Here is a PDF of my "Gameday EDC":

In this video, we will perform a “Stuff Test” between the Maxpedition EDC Pocket Organizer vs. the Vanquest EDC Maximizer Organizer at part of my Throwdown video series. Since the Vanquest organized is slightly larger, here is the test execution steps:
1) Stuff the Vanquest organizer to capacity
2) Remove the items from the Vanquest organizer
3) Try to fit as many of the items as possible into the Maxpedition organizer
4) Note what items were unable to be included due to the size different
5) Verify the Maxpedition organizer thickness
6) Remove the items from the Maxpedition organizer
7) Insert all of the items from the Maxpedition into the Vanquest
8) Verify the Vanquest organizer thickness
9) Check to see which organizer is more efficient and thinner with equal amount of items

This afternoon I flew to San Jose, California for a week long business trip. I wanted to show you a video of how my EDC system is modified for traveling through an airport, since there are several items that I am not able to board on a plane. In this video I show the modifications that I make to my EDC, film myself traveling through the security checkpoints at Seatac airport, and then I have a little fun filming my travels in the San Jose area. Enjoy!

BUILDING A BUG OUT BAG: Research and Development
This is the 1st part to my "Building a Bug Out Bag" video series that will document my process of redesigning my B.O.B. The bag will be divided into multiple "compartments", which will each have two related videos: an R&D (Research & Development) video and a finalized version video that shows what I eventually decided on for items in the particular compartment.
This video is for my "SAS Survival Pouch" compartment. I am currently in the early design process of this compartment. This will be the first compartment that I will take out of my finished Bug Out Bag and strap on my waist, so if I were ever to not be without my main B.O.B., I would still have a minimal set of necessary gear.
Any input that you could provide to this survival pouch during its early design process would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
