2020-07-24 Stronger By Stress- Interview with Siim Land
Here, we discuss his latest book, “Stronger by Stress: Adapt to Beneficial Stressors to Improve Your Health and Strengthen the Body,” which came out July 26, 2020. It reviews the really important concepts of hormesis and antifragility.
• If your body is unfit or lacking key nutrients, you're going to experience chronic stress by chronically overactivating your sympathetic nervous system • Strategies that promote antifragility make your body stronger from the stress Intermittent fasting or time-restricted eating allows you to become metabolically flexible and insulin sensitive, which builds your antifragility • Heat-shock proteins repair misfolded proteins and RNA, increase glutathione and promote autophagy. Cold-shock proteins also activate antioxidant defense mechanisms, while lowering inflammation and oxidative stress • Using leucine or hydroxy methylbutyrate can allow you to increase your protein synthesis without adding more protein to your diet. You can get away with eating less protein while still getting the benefits of the mTOR stimulation that promotes muscle growth

In this interview, Dr. Henry Ealy, better known as Dr. Henele, a certified holistic nutritionist and founder/executive community director of the Energetic Health Institute,1 reviews how U.S. federal regulatory agencies have manipulated COVID-19 statistics to control the pandemic narrative.
• Dr. Henele and his team started looking at CDC data on COVID-19 cases and fatalities in mid-March 2020, quickly realizing the agency was vastly exaggerating fatalities
• Over-reporting of fatalities was enabled by a March 2020 change in how cause of death is reported on death certificates. Rather than listing COVID-19 as a contributing cause in cases where people died from other underlying conditions, it was to be listed as the primary cause
• As of August 23, 2020, the CDC reported 161,392 fatalities caused by COVID-19. Had the long-standing, original guidelines for death reporting been used, there would have only been 9,684 total fatalities due to COVID-19
• The CDC violated federal law, as the Paperwork Reduction Act requires data collection and publication to be overseen by the Office of Management and Budget. Proposed changes must be published in the Federal Register and be open to public comment. None of these transparency rules were followed
• We don’t yet know who was responsible for altering the reporting rules in violation of federal law. To identify the culprits, formal grand jury investigation petitions have been sent to all U.S. attorneys and the U.S. Department of Justice, requesting a thorough, independent and transparent investigation
In this interview, we review some of the remarkable benefits of low-dose naltrexone (LDN), including the surprising benefits of microdosed LDN. The two experts featured in this interview are Linda Elsegood, a Briton who founded the LDN Research Trust1 in 2004, and Dr. Sarah Zielsdorf, who has a medical practice in the Chicago area in the U.S.
• Low-dose naltrexone, an opiate antagonist, can benefit most autoimmune and chronic pain conditions
• LDN is also being used as an adjunct for cancer. Research by professor Angus George Dalgleish and Dr. Wei Lou showed LDN could bring cancer cells into remission using pulsed dosing
• When microdosed, LDN can help potentiate long-term users of opioids, allowing them to reduce their dependence and lower their required opioid dose
• Naltrexone only briefly blocks the opioid receptor. Its chief clinical benefit is in the rebound effect, which includes an upregulation of your immune system and subsequent reduction in inflammation
• Other conditions being treated with LDN include Lyme disease and its co-infections, fibromyalgia, SIBO, restless leg syndrome, depression, dermatological issues and even infertility
Google’s parent company Alphabet launched Calico and Verily Life Sciences – pharmaceutical companies engineering new drugs. Google changed its algorithms to lower rankings of natural health websites that it says contradict the medical consensus.
Dr.M.'s site was one of many sites targeted by this change and drastically increased the visibility of WebMD and Healthline, advertising businesses both utilizes google ad services that promote drugs and junk food.
“Egg Crackdown,” a CBC Marketplace report, investigates the marketing of supermarket eggs and visits egg producers to get a firsthand look at what the company’s label actually means.
Health conscious consumers know to look for designations like “organic,” “free-range,” “pastured” and “cage-free,” but while you may think many of these are interchangeable, they’re actually not.
While organic poultry and eggs are guaranteed to be free-range, as required by organic standards, free-range poultry are not required to be organic.
The organic label is the only way to ensure you’re getting eggs from chickens that have not been fed antibiotics for growth purposes, as this is not allowed under the organic standards.
Overall, the cage-free and free-range labels say little to nothing about the conditions in which the chickens are raised. For the best quality eggs, from the most humanely-raised hens, the label you’re looking for is “organic” and “pastured”.

In this interview, return guest Dr. Vladimir Zelenko discusses an incredibly serious concern, one shared with at least two other highly credible experts — Michael Yeadon, Ph.D., a life science researcher and former vice-president and chief scientist of allergy and respiratory research at Pfizer, and professor Luc Montagnier, a world-renowned virologist who won the Nobel prize for his discovery of HIV.

There is little doubt that in terms of quality, much of the food sold in the United States lags behind those sold in other nations. In fact, what you are eating now may ALREADY be banned in other countries because of harmful additives, growth promoters, genetically engineered ingredients, or other dangerous practices.
The overall level of health in the country is deteriorating, faring lower than other industrialized countries even in the face of greater healthcare spending. You can’t help but see a connection between these toxic foods and the rising rates of disease from now on.

Fats are the primary building block of your cell membranes. This is one of the reasons why eating the right types of fat is so important for your health and longevity.
While most nutritional experts blame the epidemic of chronic disease on the increase in sugar consumption, the role of sugar is relatively minor when compared to the impact of seed oils.
There are two basic types of fatty acids, based on how many of their carbon bonds are paired with hydrogen: saturated fats and unsaturated fats. Unsaturated fats are further subdivided into monounsaturated fats and polyunsaturated fats (PUFAs), depending on how many pairs of hydrogen atoms they are missing.
Because your tissues are made up mostly of saturated and monounsaturated fats, your body requires more of them than PUFAs.
The main dietary PUFAs are omega-3 and omega-6 fats, and while your body does need these, it needs them in relatively small quantities. The most pernicious toxin in the modern diet, and the fat you need to minimize consumption of, is the omega-6 fat linoleic acid (LA). LA makes up 60% to 80% of omega-6 fats and is the primary contributor to chronic disease.
