Blender Christmas tutorial Part 4 | Blender
Hi everyone, Here is the fourth part to the blender Christmas tutorial series. Sorry I am a little late with this tutorial. It has been a pretty busy holiday season for me. It is going to be a few part tutorial series. The over all tutorial is 2 hours and 40 something minutes long . I show you a few different things inside of blender. We work with some particles, texture painting, Cycles nodes, a little bit of modeling. So, it is a pretty good tutorial to learn some pretty cool stuff. I hope you enjoy it.

Hi everyone, In this tutorial I will be showing you how to make a lens flare from scratch. I know you all have seen how one dimensional gimp's normal lens flare is. You also can't do that much with it. I need lens flares a lot in some of the manipulations that I make. If you search for them on the internet, most people want you to buy them and they can be very pricey. There are some great free option's out there for lens flares. But, most of them won't let you use their lens flares commercially. So, the only other option is to make your own. I have not found any plug-ins that you can add to gimp that helps you out in making cool lens flares, like they have for photoshop. So the next best thing to do is make the lens flares from scratch on your own. I show you how to make a lens flare from scratch in gimp. Although it is a very basic lens flare. It should get you rolling on how top make your own lens flares. I hope you guys enjoy this tutorial.

Hi everyone, in this tutorial I will be showing you how I set up my work space in Gimp. I was asked by a couple of people on how I did this. So, I thought I would make a simple tutorial explaining how I set up my work space and why I set it up that way. I like working in Gimp in single windows mode. I worked with Photoshop for a long time and I got used to working that way. Personally I like working with a single window than multiple windows in the first place.
