In this episode of NLGG, we will look at how to avoid creating a 16 GB hard drive for your entire root directory including home, when using the Fedora net installer (I do not know at this time whether the other versions would cause the same problem) no matter what size of a hard drive you actually have.
This was the primary reason why I ended up installing Fedora 5 times before I noticed what it was doing and fixed it by partitioning the hard drive manually. I love using Fedora, but they really need to rethink their automatic partitioning options. It sucks to have a 128 GB HD reduced down to 16 GBs.
