ChinnyVision - Ep 230 - Sega Megadrive PIRATE Multicart 67 In 1
We've all seen the multicarts on certain Far Eastern websites? I decided to order one up and see what games lurk on this 67 in 1 Megadrive cartridge? Would the games be any good? Would they all be duplicates. Would the cartridge even work? Are they a cheap alternative to an Everdrive? Find out!
Smash TV is a 1990 arcade game by Williams and converted to the home micros for Ocean by Probe in 1992. The spiritual successor to Robotron, ChinnyVision fires up the real hardware on the Sinclair Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, Commodore 64, Sega Master System, Sega Megadrive, Super Nintendo, ST, Amiga.

Way back in episode 137 I reviewed an Amstrad Penpad which, like all Penpads, was covered in goo due to the plastic coating breaking down. Sadly it didn't work but The Back Office Show took the Penpad in and removed the coating. And now the machine works! So lets take a look and see if it can recognise my handwriting.
Thanks to the Back Office Show who fixed up this Penpad - Visit them here - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdCDj4v4eWN5kvVCeJ1KgXA

In the days of budget games, often the magazine reviews were several weeks behind. So you had no reliable guide as to what was good and what was not. So you had to study the covers to decide what game to buy. ChinnyVision takes a look at budget game covers versus pesky reality with some of our favourite Mastertronic (and others) games.

Avoid your Uncle "Claude" and get all of the goods onto the conveyer belt. A simple concept for the Amstrad CPC and BBC Micro, but is it any fun? All footage from a real Amstrad CPC 6128 and BBC Master.
This game also has a release called Uncle Claude on the BBC Micro. Any similarity between Uncle Claude and Sir Clive Sinclair are purely intentional.
