Becoming a responsible Drone Pilot, with the Drone Pilot Canada App
In Canada, basic and advanced drone operations require written procedures and checklists.
I found the Drone Pilot Canada App to be a very useful for that. Sharing my experience and an unexpected incident.

Does the Canadian Advanced RPAS (drone) -license give a drone operator more credibility? Could it be enough to get permission to take off, by a property owner, manager or even the city?
I decided to start off with the easy stuff, armed myself with a safety vest, a binder and a flight plan, to ask for permission to take off from a mall parking lot. Did it work and how did it go?
