Dry Work:
4-Count Draw by step
Ensure clearing of the cover garment.
Over emphasize holstering the gun slowly, carefully, reluctantly, etc.
4-Count Draw to the Ready
No wasting time, get the gun out.
Finger off the trigger, visual awareness downrange, hands, waistline, ready to discriminate target if needed.
4-Count Draw present to target, press a perfect shot
Gun goes on target, finger goes on target, take out slack.

Back to the ready and holster.
Reloads/Malfunction Remediation
Setup:
Start with a dummy/snap cap in the chamber and 1 dummy/snap cap in the magazine. Have at least two spare magazines with one dummy round each.
Attempt to fire, remedy the malfunction, press off perfect shot.
Execute a speed/proactive reload and repeat the drill.
Dry Parrot
From 3 yards,at the Ready, five perfect trigger presses on the parrot (or similar small target)
Repeat at least 3 times.
Live Fire:
3 Yard Line-
From the Ready, fire 5 rounds to the parrot, untimed. (5 Rounds)
From the Ready, fire 1 round to the chest, 1 round to the head, and 1 round to the parrot. X3 (9 Rounds)
*Vary the order each iteration.
Draw and fire 3 rounds to the chest in 4 seconds or less. X3 (9 Rounds)
