It is possible to use it for divination purposes, and I do employ this in my readings, but I feel it is more important to get in touch with ourselves, first and foremost, and confront the ~ darker ~ sides of ourselves. No one is perfect, and personal growth is a never-ending endeavour. The closer we can get to our imperfections to objectively assess them, the easier it is to let go of those self-limiting beliefs, toxic behaviours and projections that we are all plagued with.
