DIY Heat Pump Water Heater [High Pressure Failure]
In this video I further document my attempt at making use of heated water from a 6000btu window air conditioner. The assumption is I can heat water about 3x more efficiently with an air conditioner than with a resistive water heater element. I find that I had not checked the specifications of all the parts purchased for this project which cut me short, but don't worry I'll follow up with a working version shortly.

I cleaned out one the rooms upstairs so that my mom and I can start working on it together. We have already started pulling the wallpaper off and we have a lot more to do in there. We also moved the chickens to a new spot so that they don't where the ground to much. Then of course when we thought we were going to have a day the A/C in the living room decided to go out. Christopher was able to get it working with a temporary fix so don't worry, we aren't melting over here.

Discussing steps to determine if it's worth installing a turbine. In this video I start my journey of determining if a wind turbine would be worth the cost and effort. Solar panels seem like a much more viable option but I like the aesthetics of having a turbine considering the plans we have for our property. With our turbine tower project stalled as we work with the City on getting a permit it was time to bench test the turbine and publish the results for anyone interested. I was able to test a few things, such as what wattage it puts out at the rated RPM, whether the turbine cuts out if the battery voltage is too high, whether the turbine will apply a brake if the voltage is too high, and what happens if you rev it higher than the rated speed! All of these will be tested against what Amazon has on the description page for this turbine, here are the key data points for this turbine:
