Bhishmadeva had the boon to give up his body at a time of his choice, but still, he was very conscious to not forget the Lord even for a moment. And he was fortunate enough to have the Lord by his side at the crucial point of time of his life. Therefore we should be always prepared to face this final exam of our life like Bhishmadeva. The unique situation at Bhishmadeva’s time of death can be attained, even though Lord Krishna may not be personally present. It is possible by practising Krishna consciousness in our life in different ways such as- chanting the names of Lord, hearing the topics of the Lord, remembering the Lord, worshipping Him, etc. Then we will be able to think of the Lord even at the time of death by His mercy and go back to His spiritual abode. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z55-mYXwfag

My dear servants, this transcendental religious principle, which is known as bhāgavata-dharma, or surrender unto the Supreme Lord and love for Him, is uncontaminated by the material modes of nature. It is very confidential and difficult for ordinary human beings to understand, but if by chance one fortunately understands it, he is immediately liberated, and thus he returns home, back to Godhead.
Purport
In Bhagavad-gītā Lord Kṛṣṇa refers to bhāgavata-dharma as the most confidential religious principle (sarva-guhyatamam, guhyād guhyataram). Kṛṣṇa says to Arjuna, “Because you are My very dear friend, I am explaining to you the most confidential religion.” Sarva-dharmān parityajya mām ekaṁ śaraṇaṁ vraja: “Give up all other duties and surrender unto Me.” One may ask, “If this principle is very rarely unde

Ramayana is a great Sanskrit epic poem written by Sage Valmiki. The Ramayana consists of 24,000 verses which are divided in seven books and 500 cantos. The conjunction of Rama and Ayana makes the word Ramayana which means The Journey of Lord Rama. Lord Rama is considered the 7th incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
For Hindus, the Ramayana is a great religious book. It is widely believed that reciting Ramayana brings peace and prosperity into the family. Reciting whole Ramayana might take couple of days and many times due to time constraint it is not possible to recite the whole Ramayana in a single sitting.
Nama Ramayanam is the condensed version of epic Ramayana written by sage Valmiki in Sanskrit. Nama Ramayanam consists of 108 Shlokas and similar to complete Ramayana, Nama Ramayanam has seven chapters which are divided into Balakandah, Ayodhyakandah, Kishkindhakandah, Sunderkandah, Yuddhakandah and Uttarakhand.
