I told you guys! I told all of you! No one believed me, but here we are and I have been proven correct!
Before we get to that, we opt here to reject Kimiko's partnership in the game, which causes things to play out far different than normal, with some of the characters even acting in a very unusual manner (remember that the Vogels and the Captain do not get along...). It does allow me to make one of my favorite Futurama jokes, so there is that.
Finally getting a chance to record another one of these, we start off the new chapter, which has a new pair of party members and a new environment. This one is still somewhat linear, but this time we find ourselves being threatened by a human in addition to the local ghosts. Things do go south however, and Mashita has to make a daring rescue. As we escape, we get a chance to see what we're up against, but we need to take some time to collect our thoughts...
Here the events are set in motion that lead up to the final day of the contest. We can see how things change up as different players are either wiped out from competition, or the earlier players are forced into dormancy while the others struggle for the last bit of scraps. With so many things having gone well up until now, the arrival of obstacles was long overdue.

Here is the first part of something that will be happening a few times through the playthrough. We do not move forward with any major missions here, instead going to each and every place and speaking to the people there. This is generally how you will find the majority of the books, recipes, and even secret quests that are to be had. Due to the size of Crossbell, this is pretty much its own video with the following day being when we start working on our missions.
This map is basically just the last obstacle before we reach our destination. We get a little information about the map we had just cleared, namely about how the necromancer from that map fits into the bigger picture. There will be a bit more to come in the set of maps ahead of us, but nothing truly earth-shattering. The game is trying to go through the motions and I'm trying to continue the ride a bit longer.

This Pokemon is just as trolly as a Jigglypuff fan could want, from how the Pound (it looks like Doubleslap though) can knock people back to the AOE Sing putting them to sleep. Your damage is on the low side and you are melee, but holy crap this one can be annoying.
I actually do attempt a support style here to see how it works, but I don't have the items to really do it. It wasn't until the match after this one that I finally hit level 9 and was able to start upgrading items, so I am still using the most basic of the basic here. If the lane partner is competent, I think EXP Share may be the way to go, but next time I will want Leftovers for sustain and maybe something to boost my movement speed since everything is such short range.
It was also interesting to see how AFKs are handled here, and I'm not sure why the bot bound to me instead of one of the others. It is possible that supports get preference, but I won't know until I see more.

A fairly lengthy story segment with a minimum of combat here. During the parade, a kid went missing and the SSS has to locate him. Spreading out and using Zeit, they start to work out the path he took only to realize he is no longer in city limits. With some help from Renne, they pull off a rescue that sheds a lot of light into the history of the Hayworth family...

Quite a few of my friends play this game and have ultimately convinced me to pick it up too. This is my foray into learning some of the maps while playing solo so I can see how everything works for when I do start playing with people I know.
I am playing with randoms for the most part here, but we do try to play multiple games with each other before disbanding and moving on. As such, for a few of these games, you will see some familiar names for a few games, and then a new cast moves in. Just be aware that the more we play with each other, we start to notice patterns and tells, which is extremely important for that grand finale.
Now, the warning I have to give is that since we are playing with randoms, the games move extremely fast. There are 21 games in this set with the shortest game lasting around 30 seconds (seriously), things are extremely chaotic, but you get to see some of the twists and turns that come from playing this. I edited out the waiting segments between games to make it even more chaotic while still getting under a 2 hour time limit for the video itself.
Now, the games where I blatantly recognized cheaters or hackers were removed from the set, but there are still glitches in the game. Since I can't really do much about the latter, those may still be in here, but I don't waste time with cheaters. The monster dust thing was a bit suspicious, but I left it in for novelty value if nothing else.

Since recording this, I learned the problem with the score is that Drake is being graded here. That is why the score so crappy at the end as I mainly had him soften stuff up for Kanbei and try to hold on. Otherwise, we do not have the APC on the island anymore, so units have to dock at the port for supplies, which means I have to cycle the subs so they don't sink. While this is going on, I still try to send some units down to deal with the cannons and find some slight success (and this is the source of my power score). Due to a small oversight, I take a bit of speed score hit.
As for Kanbei, the chip damage from Hawke's powers are why I will not be using him for the Green Earth finale. The power spam will be worse there, and he simply cannot field a force that is getting worn away that rapidly.

You can watch the abyss get deeper here with a Snorlax game where the opposite lane chooses to feed, feed, and feed. As a result, the game is literally lost within the first few minutes with little to no hope of getting back in. Sadly, this is the norm with ranked right now as a lot of the competent players have backed out knowing that people are desperate and stupid. As a result, your victory is contingent upon getting the recklessly desperate on the other team instead of yours. Luckily, the season is winding down, so there will only be a few ranked games left to endure.
