I wanted to do something to alleviate the suffering of lives under distress around the world. so I chose to cover the song "Conscription Notice" by Ukrainian band YAKTAK. This is a song depicting the impacts of war on Ukrainian people. Told from the perspective of a young man who received a conscription notice and had to leave his family and friends for the battlefield. The lyrics expressed grief and indignation towards the war, as well as the longing for peace. For freedom, for peace, for Ukraine?? Glory to Ukraine?? May the evil ones go back to hell soon, and may we deserve a heavenly peaceful life. Those with great power and weapons, without moral standards, will lead the world to destruction. Weapons and offenses have never truly protected us. They serve as temporary tools before reaching the end goal, which must be discarded eventually, otherwise there will never be true peace or happiness. What are we willing to sacrifice for freedom and peace? Is it to furiously die in order to defeat the invaders, in order to protect the spirit of freedom? Or to humiliatingly surrender for survival, then try to soften the minds of the violent?
