Deadlift day doesn't faze me at all anymore. These felt light as fuck today , maybe RPE 5 or RPE 6. I have no idea how many reps I could get with a 405 AMRAP because I might have a heart attack if I tried.
It's pretty crazy that I've improved my conditioning so much already that deadlift 10's are easy to me now. Increased the weight 10 pounds this week because I knew that 410 was going to be too light for this rep scheme. I'm trying to adjust the weight so that I'm always working quite hard, but also trying not to go TOO far. Every time I decide to increase the weight 10 pounds instead of 5 on an exercise, it makes every workout in the remainder of my program more difficult so it has to be applied sparingly. I would like to increase another 10 pounds at some point during the deadlift program, preferably after completing week 10.
