When it comes to games, January tends to be a rather dry month. People are, of course, recovering from the holidays, and the pandemic isn’t making things easy for anyone. That’s why it’s remarkable that one of my own most anticipated games of the year is coming so soon. Yes, it’s another rogue-like title in a sea of thousands, brought to us from some generous Kickstarter backers. However, Jandusoft SL (out of Catalonia) and Grimorio of Games (two folks out of Barcelona) have imbued this one with summoning mechanics and a path to make the brick wall upon which the players beat their heads softer. Set to launch January 28 on PC, Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, this one has the makings of a really good time.
For those lucky enough to snag a next gen console, there is a bit of a waiting period. Fortunately, backwards compatibility is a thing and Sword of the Necromancer doesn’t look like one worth waiting on.
Iran just released a video showing off the Fattah hypersonic missile. North Korea has nuclear ICBM’s, Syria is back in the Arab league and Russia is winning in Ukraine. BRICS+ and the reduction of USD in global trade turn US sanctions into pillow fights.

As the family watches The Bachelor, Rick is dissatisfied with the quality of Earth TV so he upgrades the cable to show programming from every conceivable dimension. Eventually, they see Jerry from an alternative reality on TV. The family, minus Rick and Morty, uses Rick's goggles to see through the eyes of their duplicates in that alternative reality, where Jerry and Beth have successful lives, they never married, and Summer was never born because Beth had an abortion. Jerry, Beth and Summer have a heated discussion in which they conclude that family life is holding them back and Beth admits that Summer was an unwanted pregnancy. Summer feels unwanted and plans to run away, but Morty tells her that he and Rick themselves came from an alternate dimension (as depicted in "Rick Potion #9") and persuades her to stay. Ultimately, Beth and Jerry discover that their alternate selves are miserable in their own ways and witness them getting back together, which convinces them that they belong together too.
Post-credits scene: The family goes on vacation into an alternate reality where hamsters live in human rectums that they saw on the interdimensional TV.
