He sat down and began teaching them. 3 Now the scribes and Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery. They made her stand in the center of the court, 4 and they said to Him, “Teacher, this woman has been caught in the very act of adultery.
5 Now in the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women [to death]. So what do You say [to do with her—what is Your sentence]?” 6 They said this to test Him, hoping that they would have grounds for accusing Him. But Jesus stooped down and began writing on the ground with His finger. 7 However, when they persisted in questioning Him, He straightened up and said, “He who is without [any] sin among you, let him be the first to throw a stone at her.” 8 Then He stooped down again and started writing on the ground.
9 They listened [to His reply], and they began to go out one by one, starting with the oldest ones, until He was left alone, with the woman [standing there before Him] in the center of the court. 10 Straightening up, Jesus said to her, “Woman, where are they? Did no one condemn you?” 11 She answered, “No one, Lord!” And Jesus said, “I do not condemn you either. Go. From now on sin no more.”]

The man who commits adultery with another’s wife, even his neighbor’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall most certainly be put to death.
Leviticus 20 : 10
If a man is intimate with a woman who is another man’s wife, they shall both be put to death, the man who lay with the woman, and the woman. So you shall remove the evil from Israel.
Deuteronomy 22 : 22
On the evidence of two or three witnesses, he who is to die shall be put to death; he shall not be put to death on the evidence of [only] one witness. 7 The hand of the witnesses shall be the first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hand of all the people. So you shall remove the evil from among you.

Highlights
In our last devotion, I shared with you how we are to remember our pastors. I closed by saying, to remember their time, remember their work, remember their position, and remember they must give an account.
Remember Their Responsibility: Pastors bear the responsibility of giving an account to God for their congregation. We must appreciate the weight of this responsibility and support them in their ministry.
Encourage and Appreciate: Remember your pastor's special occasions, such as birthdays and anniversaries. Encouragement from the congregation means a lot to them.
Obey Your Pastor: Obedience to our spiritual leaders is crucial, even though it may go against our natural inclinations. When they lead in a godly manner, we are called to follow and obey their guidance.
Respect Spiritual Authority: God has established authority in various aspects of life, including the church. Viewing authority as an umbrella of protection rather than domination helps us appreciate its importance.
Choose Wisely: We have the privilege to choose our church and pastor. If you cannot obey your chosen pastor, consider finding one whom you can follow in faith.
God Requires Obedience: Obeying your pastor is ultimately obeying God's command. Disobedience not only disrespects your pastor but challenges God's authority.
Seek Order Amid Chaos: Authority is designed to bring order out of the chaos caused by human sinfulness. Embrace it as a protective shield rather than a burden.
In conclusion, honoring and obeying our pastors is not only a biblical mandate but also a source of spiritual growth and community strength. Remember, appreciate, and obey your pastor, recognizing the role they play in your spiritual journey.
