The Putra Mosque is the principal mosque of Putrajaya Wilaya, Malaysia. Construction of the mosque began in 1997 and was completed two years later. It is located next to the Perdana Putra, which houses the Malaysian Prime Minister's office and man-made Putrajaya Lake. In front of the mosque is a large square with flagpoles flying Malaysian states' flags.
Mausoleum and one of the world's great mosques in terms of design, motifs, and materials used (white alabaster). Located in Agra in northern India, it was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a tribute to the memory of his wife and his beloved Mumtaz Mahal who was buried with it.
