Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honor is a role-playing game for Windows published in 1999 by 3DO and developed by New World Computing. The game follows on from both the events of Heroes of Might and Magic III (a prequel to Blood and Honor), and those of Might and Magic VI: The Mandate of Heaven. Players form a party of four characters who win a castle in a scavenger hunt and soon become embroiled in political events on the continent of Antagarich, on the world of Enroth, before eventually choosing one of two paths and working alongside a number of characters, whose storyline continues on from the events of Might and Magic III: Isles of Terra. The game, Might and Magic VIII: Day of the Destroyer is a sequel to Blood and Honor. In Might and Magic VII much of the gameplay remains the same as it was in Mandate of Heaven, though a few improvements and changes were made to a number of prominent parts of the game. Character creation in Blood and Honor received an update from its predecessor by now allowing players to choose a race for each character, while also adding in three new classes to choose from alongside the pre-existing ones. The skill system also received a major change, with the inclusion of new skills and a new level of expertise - Grandmaster - but also becoming more restrictive than that of the previous title. Might and Magic VII takes place on the world of Enroth, across the continent of Antagarich. The continent is divided up into several regions, including the elven lands of Avlee and Tularean Forest, the barrens of Deyja which house the necromancer stronghold of The Pit, the swamps and snow-capped mountains of Tatalia, the Bracada desert and the cloud city of Celeste, Mount Nighon, the islands of Emerald Isle and Evernmorn, the dwarven lands of the Barrow Downs, the human kingdom of Erathia, and the realm of Harmondale. By the time the game starts, the aftermath of the war in Heroes of Might and Magic III has led the elves of Avlee and the humans of Erathia in a political dispute on the boundaries of Harmondale, with tensions slowly increasing. If I can figure this out, so can you!** Escape from Tarkov is a multiplayer first-person shooter video game in development by Battlestate Games for Windows. A closed alpha test of the game was first made available to select users on August 4, 2016, followed by a closed beta which has been running since July 2017. The game is set in the fictional Norvinsk region in Northwest Russia, where a war is taking place between two private military companies (United Security "USEC" and the Battle Encounter Assault Regiment "BEAR"). Players join matches in which they fight other players for loot and aim to survive and escape - dying results in the loss of almost all items the player used and found during that game. The developers of Escape from Tarkov refer to the game as a realistic and hardcore first-person shooter role-playing video game that borrows elements from massively multiplayer online games. In its current state, Escape from Tarkov incorporates several modes for the players to play: online PMC raids, scav (short for "scavenger") raids, and a temporary offline mode. In these raids, players can choose to play solo or in groups and spawn on one side of a variety of maps to choose from in the game. Once in-game, the players are given an extraction point on the other side of the map, and must fight against other players and non-player characters to reach that point in order to escape. In addition to these standard extractions, players are also given the opportunity to use “optional” extraction points near the middle of the map, but in order to do so must meet various requirements per extract such as paying roubles (the primary in-game currency), not having a backpack, or having certain items equipped on their character. In addition to combat, players can also find loot in these maps such as firearms, equipment, and armor, and once extracted, can store their loot in a stash to use in future raids or can be sold to other players in a virtual flea market. When players die in a raid, they lose everything, including loot and the equipment they brought into the raid. Like my content?
