The ambiance is fantastic in Cartagena during Semana Santa. The Dutch family is getting ready to go with some final preparations on their boat, which makes me think about my engine. Being out in the middle of the ocean is a very lonely place, and being in the middle of the city is quite the opposite. Nat and I are with a few very special people in Praia. Namely Manu, a Cape Verdean native who lives in Marseille France, and in Praia. He shows us his amazing house he has built and some of his city. We also meet Bruno the Butcher, another Frenchman who's settled in the city. And as well we see a little more of Tarrafal and some of its residents. It's a been a long night for us trying to get around the north end of La Palma island. But eventually we see the light of day and sail down wind to finish our adventure boldly.
