All you need is something overhead to rest your hand on, like a door frame. With nothing more than that and a few minutes of your time you can do a lot to help restore these muscles to their natural length..

Today I felt like having a little fun and challenging you some. Pull ups are held up as a standard of fitness. However, I don't believe that pull ups are a functional movement. They are only a stepping stone to more advanced skills.
What do you really accomplish with a pull up? Nothing. You get your chin over the bar and that's it. You never get on top of the surface. For that you need more advanced skills.

I've been doing the Wim Hof Method for almost a year now. I've been pretty consistent doing at least one round almost every day. Today I'm talking about using movement with intention to address my shoulder restriction! I've been doing a lot of research recently on a lot of different modalities that work to recondition neurology. All of this sort of came together a few days ago and I decided to try setting a conscious intention for each workout and for each movement.
In just a few sessions, I've noticed that my body responds much more strongly to workouts I've set an intention for than workouts I haven't. In just a few sessions I've noticed that my shoulder is already loosening up. That's not to say that just the intention has made my shoulder loosen up, but that the corrective action is much more helpful when it's done thoughtfully!

Stiff knees can be caused by a lot of things, but the most common reasons are actually tight quads. Tight calves can also contribute to stiff knees. I'm gonna share a technique you can use to release your quads and calves and show you how to apply it to those areas. Releasing these muscles can help things move more smoothly and add extra space to the knee joint!
