Electric Pro Academy - Real skills to make real money.
When it comes to electrical skills, commercial jobs are not really much different than residential jobs, besides 3 major things, which might make them your most or least favorite:
1. Scale: You and your team need to complete more tasks in less time. Some like the drive of the clock, but some prefer to work at their own pace.
2. Simple: The checklist often only consists of 3 simple tasks, completed hundreds of times. This can either be a relief or horribly boring!
3. Metal: Most commercial settings require additional protection for electrical wire, requiring a few additional tools and skills. This additional up-front cost (of money & learning time) may not be right for young electrical companies.
Ultimately though, commercial customers can be great for diversifying the job calendar and providing some simplicity to those who often find themselves doing too much for too little.
