Oh my what have we here, a video that doesn't even feature Omnisphere. This time around we are exploring a beautiful patch library for Phase Plant. We are going to take a grand tour of Luftrum 28, which provides 75 gorgeous ambient patches for Phase Plant.
Phase Plant doesn't seem to get much love but I am so glad that Luftrum has taken the time to create this library. I take you on a tour of all 75 patches, provide a little composition context and then round it all up with a brief walkthrough of how the track was put together.

In this video we are looking at how to record the latch parameter, which is part of the Live Mode. Basically, latch allows you to sustain the patch whilst playing notes on a different channel within Omnisphere.
We then go one step further and show you how to record the output of Omnisphere as audio in real-time. This will allow you to capture a real-time performance at the same time as other instruments or audio input sources.
This is a deep technical video and if there is anything at all that I talk about or show, which you don't understand please, please, please let me know in the comments below. There are no stupid or daft questions as you can guarantee someone else will have the same question but too afraid to ask.

This is a short tutorial about mod envelopes within Omnisphere. I show you how they can be used to not just affect normal parameters like volume, but also how you can use them to adjust effects over time.
We then go a little crazy and start building a sequence and using mod envelopes to affect the arp sequence.
This video is with thanks to Hakon L M for putting up a request in the comments on an earlier video.
If there is anything you would like me to provide a tutorial on, whether it be Omnisphere or music theory, leave a comment below and I will add it to my list. You will also get a free shout out in the video.
I have also solved the issue with the drop menus not showing up in the videos. It turned out to be a setting within the screen recording software I am using, so all is fixed now.

Heavocity Mosaic Voices is a Kontakt Instrument from Heavycity and provides a different take on a choir sample library. Instead of your traditional voices, you have a more organic sounding instrument that sits nicely in orchestral hybrid, electronic or ambient tracks.
In this video, I provide a broad overview of the instrument alongside some quick sound design. I then finish off with a quick playthrough of some of the snapshots available in this library.

Avoid this mistake with Songtradr distribution.
Songtradr is a platform that provides opportunities to pitch your music for placement in films, advertising etc. It's kind of a match making service in that way. They also offer a distribution arm to get your music into online stores like Spotify, iTunes, Amazon etc.
This is where things get a little sticky as Songtradr want to verify your ID before you can submit your music for distribution. Not just ID but a photo ID that also holds quite personal information like your driving licence or passport. Best part of all is, if you don't have photo ID you cannot use their distribution service. For those who don't holiday abroad or drive, you are out of luck.
If you do happen to have the relevant ID be prepared to upload those sensitive details to a random third party website. If you are in the EU, that data is going straight out of the EU to heaven only knows where.
My advice, if you want to distribute your music find another company. Put in the comments below whom you used to distribute your music and your experiences. Let's learn from each other.

A new week = a new track to relax to, although this one is a touch more upbeat than my usual fare. So sit back and let us continue our journey through the cosmos. The music you hear was created using only Spectrasonics Omnisphere and StylusRMX. It was mixed using Softube Console 1 and UAD plugins.
Music similar in style to: Tangerine Dream, Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis, Gas, Brian Eno

Here we are with another video showing you how to make the sequencer within Omnisphere play different time signatures. When the sequencer is set to 1/8th note each step represents a quaver (or a 1/8th note). By making the first beat louder you establish the meter.
So if you want 12/8, then set the sequencer to 24 steps and program your pattern as 1/8th notes.

In this short video, I will show you how to sync Spectrasonics Omnisphere and Trilian together. Now we have a full arpeggiator and sequencer within Trilian, we will no doubt like to play a bass sequence coupled with another sequence from Omnisphere.
There will be occasions when you come across two completely different patterns but like the sound of both of them. This video shows how you can link the sequences and have the patterns play in sync with each other.
This will also work in reverse so you can sync Omnisphere to Trilian.
