Weekly Toronto Freedom Rally features man ticketed for cleaning the park

On Saturday May 8, anti-lockdown/Freedom Rally protesters took to Queen’s Park to voice their concerns over the seemingly never-ending lockdowns that the Ontario government has imposed onto its citizens.
This past weekend, some protesters were issued tickets for non-compliance in relation to the perversely named Reopening Ontario Act, even though police appeared not to be doing so for other members of the public who were enjoying the park with protesters just meters away.

One individual, confronted by police after spending his time simply cleaning garbage from the park grounds, was arrested for refusing to identify himself in accordance with the Act, though not before sending a formidable message to the police on scene:

Unfortunately, this has been a trend in weeks previous. At the beginning of each protest, before the crowd swells up for the march, Toronto police will look for individuals who have a sign, a voice, a Canadian flag, anything that visually marks them as potentially being part of the protest.
Though this does not hinder the spirit of the group — many take it graciously, and as part of a duty to their country in the fight against draconian lockdown measures.
There was also a small handful of dissenting bystanders on the streets as the crowd marched its way through the city. Unfortunately, most are just looking for someone to blame for their own misfortunes.

You're going to get a $2,800 traffic ticket for not wearing the right piece of fabric while standing in a store — and if you don't pay, we'll take away your drivers licence.
That's a wild thing to say, but in Saskatchewan that's exactly what's going on.
Today, we hear the story of Kelly George Paul, a Regina shop owner who was targeted by local authorities for not wearing a mask.
It's not just a mask, however, as Kelly details for us in this interview. His personal medical situation is a prime concern and is what guides his actions in these regards. On August 5, there will be a CFL game held at the IG Field in Winnipeg. The stadium will be allowed to open at full capacity, which means there’s potential for a crowd of upwards of 30,000 people, but there’s a catch. Only those who have been fully vaccinated may gain entry — those who have decided not to get the COVID vaccine, or cannot get the vaccine, will presumably be stopped at the door.
This brings us to Patrick Allard(rebelnews.com/stop_organizing_protests_theyd_have_to_kill_me_says_manitoba_man). Previously, we covered his arrest after a warrant was issued due to alleged breaches of the Public Health Act. The warrant was in relation to Patrick being a freedom event organizer over previous months. In order to be released, Patrick was made to sign conditions, which brings us to the current situation.
On July 21, Patrick made a post about the upcoming CFL game on Facebook. He wrote, “there’s only two roads into the Winnipeg Blue Bombers stadium. I think we can block both with a rather small amount of people on August 5th ahead of their game.” As a follow up remark on Instagram, Patrick alluded to the notion that this could be a “super spreader event” and voiced his concerns for fellow Manitobans attending the game, as well as his concerns that the Bombers team is now seemingly in support of medical segregation.
This led to Patrick’s arrest shortly after his posts. A media release from the Winnipeg Police Service stated that this was due to Patrick “failing to comply with condition of release order.” The condition in question being for him not to plan any more gatherings, nor invite anyone to any gatherings, contrary to public health orders.

Real Canadians: Who are you voting for?
Some gave their reasons for voting, and I hope you watch the full video to hear what they had to say.

As you may know by now, yesterday was election day in Canada. I recently took a drive from Toronto to Calgary, and along the way I got to interview real Canadians. The type of people who mainstream media would otherwise leave out of the conversation.
In this report, I asked them who they would be voting for. Many of the individuals were undecided or otherwise not voting.
For those who were, many seemed compelled to vote against something, rather than for it.
Perhaps that speaks to the divide in our country as of late, or perhaps that's how our system naturally inclines people to vote— I cannot be sure.
Some gave their reasons for voting, and I hope you watch the full video to hear what they had to say.

Pastor Tobias has a warrant out for his arrest issued by the Manitoba Justice, which can be acted upon by Winnipeg Police at any moment.

Pastor Tobias Tissen is a Minister of the Church of God in Steinbach Manitoba.
For roughly a year now, he has been at odds with the provincial government over lockdown measures being imposed onto unwilling Manitobans.
The governments restrictions were so tight late last year, that they even shut down drive-in church service. From then on, thousands of dollars in tickets have been issued to Pastor Tobias as well as to his church, and he is still being hunted by local authorities.
Pastor Tobias has a warrant out for his arrest issued by the Manitoba Justice, which can be acted upon by Winnipeg Police at any moment.
Not a pleasant feeling to be deemed wanted by the state, I imagine, but life goes on, and he is trying to making the best of the situation, but that's not all he's faced with.
The courts have delayed and delayed and delayed the church's visit to appear before a judge, though currently it is set for October 14, at which point we'll find out about the million dollar fine that could be handed out by the state.
The October 14 court date marks the church's third delayed appearance before the court. But why the delays, and should we expect another?
Considering the Manitoba government's lack of determination in regards to his warrant, and refusing to arrest him at his church when they knew where he would be, perhaps this is all really just about optics, not health.
Lastly I wanted to know, as so many now find their bodily autonomy being infringed upon by governments, employers, and otherwise: what were Pastor Tobias' thoughts in regards to these new vaccine mandates?

For decades now, Canada has been a place of refuge for individuals fleeing government tyranny and religious persecution, a place where people could aspire to a better life. Yet now, in real time, we are watching the unravelling of our fundamental rights and freedoms, the very glue that bonds us together, and this is all being done under the cheap guise of “public health and safety.”
This brings me to Pastor Tobias Tissen(rebelnews.com/prairie_protesters_rally_against_covid_restrictions_in_saskatchewan), a minister at The Church of God in Steinbach, Manitoba.
The situation he has found himself in is truly incredible. As he alludes to here in our exclusive sitdown interview, he is a man of God, a principled man, and one whose family fled to Canada hoping to avoid the very situation he finds himself in today.
As we spoke, there was a warrant out for Pastor Tobias's arrest, both for hosting church services and other events(rebelnews.com/church_charged_6000_for_drive_in_services_bylaw_wait_until_media_party_leaves_to_issue_tickets).
He is part of an unofficial group of five in Manitoba who were all given warrants on the same day, but unlike the other four, who have signed the conditions of their release, Tobias knows he cannot, because it would mean he would be unable to host church services.
He does not want to silently allow for his arrest — he does not want to be detained while no one is watching, because he knows the Manitoba government is trying to do this under the radar.
That said, Pastor Tobias has been in communication with law enforcement and has told them very clearly when and where he would submit himself to authorities. If they want to arrest this pastor, they will have to do it at the church.

A year ago, talk of a vaccine passport would have been seen as conspiracy talk; yet today, the majority of provinces across the country have implemented this policy.
So what is this new form of identity, and what will it mean for Canadians?
In this report, we speak to a wide range of Canadians — from those who support the vaccine passport, to those who want nothing to do with it.

Many found the vaccine passport to be concerning to some degree or another, perhaps it will be easily forged, or worse, used as a means of segregation between the vaccinated and the unvaccinated. Right now, indoor dining and other non-essential businesses are requiring proof at the door, so will this transcend into something more?
Will the vaccine passport begin to encompass banks, public transit, grocery stores and other essential services?
Many were worried this may become a reality across the country, though others considered it a necessary health measure, regardless of freedoms lost.
So what will happen to those who do not get the vaccine as the passport continues to be enforced through the country? Will they get the vaccine because of the restrictions? Will they be subjected to a life lived at home?

This Saturday at the Toronto anti-lockdown protest/freedom rally, it was clear that things have cooled off with regards to police engagement, though not entirely.
The city continues to deploy Toronto's finest arbitrarily to Queen's Park to guard a single statue, seemingly as a show of force against the protesters that gather there.

Shortly after this incident, the individual decided to get up and leave, instead of being dragged away in handcuffs for simply sitting in the wrong place at the wrong time. I asked the crowd there a few questions about Ontario's ongoing lockdowns to see what their thoughts were on the matter.
I wanted to know what they saw as the biggest issue with the measures put in place by Premier Doug Ford. We also discussed whether anti-lockdown protesters were being targeted more harshly than other protests happening in Toronto, and if they'd noticed the trend of late of businesses moving underground as a new means of survival while they struggle to provide for themselves and their families under Premier Ford's draconian measures.

Nurse FIRED and facing potential $20k in charges for 'organizing a protest'
Leah Frost, a nurse in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., was fired from her job and issued a pair of summonses from police, with the threat of a combined $20,000 in fines, after speaking at a protest that police claim she organized.

Leah Frost is a nurse in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario who was issued two summons amounting to what could be a $20,000 fine, a sum that would financially cripple the average Canadian.
On top of that, she was let go from her job simply for speaking up against the atrocities she saw before her very eyes. Leah is even facing the potential of losing her new job, this time for not taking government-mandated injections.
As a nurse, Leah was asked to speak at an event local to Sault Ste. Marie. There, she spoke about the health-care perspective of the pandemic. On her way home, she was given a $10,000 summons.
Turns out, this charge wasn't for speaking at the event, it was for her allegedly being an organizer of the previous event — something Leah was shocked to find out, as she says she is not an organizer.
The second summons came a week after, yet again for being an organizer. Leah was given the same summons, with the two potential fines reaching $20,000, enough to ruin most Canadians' finances.

Protest organizer treated like political dissident, charged more than $13,000

Sharon Vickner is one of our current Fight the Fines clients from Manitoba. Sharon has received multiple $1,296 tickets for breaching the Public Health Act, and has now been ticketed well over $13,000. Her crime? Protesting Premier Brian Pallister’s lockdown measures.
If that wasn’t bad enough, on May 28 an announcement was made by the Winnipeg Police Service in regards to six individuals who have been opposed to the lockdowns, including Sharon. Four of these individuals were arrested, all of whom signed the ludicrous conditions of their release, including not to speak to the others who were also issued warrants. Before being able to sign the release conditions, they were held for over twelve hours, some even overnight — all for something that appears to be a non-arrestable offence.
All that was required was the signing of the conditions for release, but the Manitoba government chose rather to turn this into a form of punishment, treating the detainees like second-class citizens in a first world country. Some were prevented from using restrooms and forced to convert their own cells into lavatories. Sharon told us that she was prevented from sleeping by guards banging on her door every five minutes, all night long. These prolonged and punitive detainments are the latest scare tactics from Pallister and the health bureaucrats to whom he has given unimaginable authority.
The measures being used by the Manitoba government, allegedly to protect citizens from the coronavirus, are more in line with tactics used in China to mitigate political dissidence. At least now I know why Pallister has some of the lowest approval ratings(cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/brian-pallister-lowest-approval-rating-covid-19-1.5588357) of any premier in the country.
