He carried out the quest "Trust: Windurst" and learned the Trust spell Kupipi. Kupipi's alter ego is a White Mage, which is very helpful indeed. Heorot also saw the humorous opening scenes for the add-on "A Shantotto Ascension". A certain Tarutaru seems to have great ambitions. Heorot now has the three introductory Trust spells: Naji, Excemille, and Kupipi. Seeing that he can only summon three Trust NPCs for now, this is perfect. Now, it's time to hit Valkurm Dunes and try to gain some levels without dying. Valkurm Dunes: Heorot resumes upon entering the Valkurm Dunes. At L-11, he talks to the conquest officer at the banner to set his home point. He also examines the nearby Field Manual. He takes on the training regime on Page 1: 7 Hill Lizards and 1 Sand Hare. Ugh. Why can't it be one enemy type or the other? Hill Lizards tend to appear in the southeast, while Sand Hares tend to appear in the northeast. The two enemy types are in close proximity near the west end of the tunnel. However, third-tier Goblins and Earth Elementals can also appear there, so take care. Earth Elementals appear during sandstorm weather, marked by a brown icon near the compass. In addition to Hill Lizards and Sand Hares, Heorot goes after individual second-tier Goblins: Butchers, Tinkerers, and Ambushers. At his level, they rank as tough. I am not crazy about the prospect of taking on incredibly tough enemies, such as third-tier Goblins, with only three Trust NPCs. Worse, you can't send out your Trust NPCs to pull enemies; you have to be the puller or party with a puller. Even so, this is a lot better than soloing in the old days, which was really rough and time-consuming. Beyond a certain level, even Easy Prey was not so easy. Locked coffers in the area are providing some nifty Level 18 and Level 21 gear. It might be nice to find a new sword. Heorot starts his training at Level 16 as a Red Mage. When his sword skill reaches 50, he learns the weapon skill Red Lotus Blade. Eventually, he reaches Level 18. When he is done, he heads to the safety of Selbina at G-9. Selbina (time 58:52): In town, Heorot sells off some excess loot. This town has a branch of the Weavers' Guild. At J-9, Heorot can find Nomad Moogles. They provide limited Mog House functionality: storage access, delivery box, and job changing. Much better than the old days, when the player had to schlep back to a major city to do these things. Then, he descended to Eldin Volcano in search of another part of the Song of the Hero. However, due to a volcanic eruption, he was captured. He had to climb the mountain stealthily and gather his items and weapons again. Finally, he met Eldin, the Fire Dragon, in the Volcano Summit and learned the Fire Dragon's Song. Now, Link will carry out a quest for Kina at Pumpkin Landing. Then, he will head to the Lanayru Province in search of the Thunder Dragon. Pumpkin Landing: Link resumes on Pumpkin Landing in the southeast of the Sky. Behind the Lumpy Pumpkin, he talks to Kina at the pumpkin patch, since she has a speech bubble over her head. She asks him to bring her someone that will be good at plowing the pumpkin patch. Certainly, Kina. Fi gives Link a dowsing target for a Patch Plower. Link takes off at the nearby platform. The Sky (time 4:30): Link dives into the red column of light. He descends toward the Volcano East area. Eldin Volcano (time 5:30): Link lands at the Volcano East statue. He heads north and dives into the Mogma cavern. In the Mogma cavern, he lands on the northern pillar. There, he talks to Guld the Mogma. This triggers a scene. When Guld agrees to go to the Sky, Fi calls Scrapper to take him away. After the scene, Link uses the nearby updraft to leave the Mogma cavern. Then, he uses the Volcano Ascent statue to take off to the Sky. The Sky (time 9:05): Link flies south and lands at Pumpkin Landing. Pumpkin Landing (time 9:57): A scene takes place when Link approaches Kina at the pumpkin patch. Scrapper drops Guld off—couldn't the robot have lowered him to the ground more gently? Anyway, Kina digs her new arrival. Link earns 5 Gratitude Crystals for a total of 80! He has acquired all the Gratitude Crystals in the game. Link dives off the platform and calls his Loftwing. The Sky (time 12:33): Link flies to Skyloft. Skyloft (time 13:10): Link lands on the southeastern portion of Skyloft. He heads down to Batreaux's House. There, he talks to Batreaux. Batreaux rewards Link with the Tycoon Wallet, the game's largest wallet. The base Tycoon Wallet holds up to 9,000 Rupees! With all the Extra Wallets, Link can now hold a maximum of 9,900 Rupees. Moreover, Batreaux undergoes a transformation. But is it convincing? Regardless, this concludes the Batreaux quest line. Now, it is time to get after the last part of the Song of the Hero. They visited Yakup at the Real Melun Watermill and accepted Quest 261: "Secret Hot Spring Flower". They explored Real Kokolata Beach and Real Koniwea Plain and gathered a couple of key items. Then, they examined the Gate of Trials in the southwest of Real Koniwea Plain and defeated the Element Red and company. Afterwards, they went through the Montcero Hot Spring Gorge. They met Lujina in the Caretaker's Cabin and acquired the Montcero Hot Spring Flower. They took this to Yakup at the Real Melun Watermill to conclude the quest. The party will now continue the Tale of Interwoven Bonds of Courage with a couple of quests beginning in Real Kokolata Beach. They will also work on a third quest that starts in the Real Liana Desolation; this will take them to the Solaria Gorge. Real Kokolata Beach (time 0:30): The party resumes at the church in Real Kokolata Beach. In the Log House at E-2, they talk to Shinon in the northern room. Shinon issues Quest 262: "Singing Voice in the Waves", a quest in the Tale of Interwoven Bonds of Courage storyline. The party must defeat Handsome Crabs (ガニラス) in the Real Koniwea Plain and acquire the Infernal File (じごくのヤスリ). She believes this file will help a "shy boy" named Ryu to sing. The party exits northeast at F-2 to the Real Koniwea Plain. Real Koniwea Plain (time 8:23): Just east of town, the party enters the tunnel at B-3/B-4. Handsome Crabs (ガニラス) can appear in this and other tunnels. The party exits at B-5 to the southwestern part of the zone. They find more Handsome Crabs in the shallow pools in this area. During the hunt, the party takes out a Metal King Slime (time 10:30). After the party has defeated a few Handsome Crabs, they obtain the Infernal File (じごくのヤスリ) key item. The next objective is to deliver this to Shinon in Kokolata Beach. The party Zooms to Real Kokolata Beach. Real Kokolata Beach (time 14:47): In the Log House at E-2, the party talks to Shinon in the northern room. They deliver the Infernal File. Quest 262 complete! The party earns 3 Green Orbs (グリーンオーブ). It turns out this "Ryu" is a piece of driftwood, which is "ryuboku" in Japanese. She means to use the file to shape it into a musical instrument. The player earns the accolade "National Helper" for completing 250 or more quests over the course of the game. Afterwards, the party talks to Shinon again. She issues Quest 263: "The Troubled Instrument Maker", another quest in the Tale of Interwoven Bonds of Courage storyline. This time, she met a mysterious person named "Crow", and her next task is to make a flute. She asks for a couple of things: Toad Oil and an Ancient Dragon Bone. Toad Oil (ガマのあぶら) is a normal material that the party can obtain from a few sources. The Ancient Dragon Bone (古竜の骨) comes from Drakulurches (ベヒードス), which can appear in the Real Gran Zedora Region or the Real Seredot Mountain Road. The party already has plenty of Toad Oil. They go outside and Zoom to the Kingdom of Real Gran Zedora. Real Gran Zedora (time 23:06): The party exits south at D-8/E-8 to the Real Gran Zedora Region. Real Gran Zedora Region (time 23:27): The party encounters a Drakulurch (ベヒードス) around E-3 just outside the city. Anlucia reaches Level 80. She earns 9 skill points for a total of 15. Under Justice, she spends 10 points on the trait Critical Rate +5%. The player earns the accolade "Veteran Hero" when Anlucia reaches Level 80. Best of all, it only takes my party one battle to acquire the Ancient Dragon Bone (古竜の骨) key item. The next objective is to deliver the Toad Oil and Ancient Dragon Bone to Shinon in Kokolata. The party Zooms to Real Kokolata Beach. Real Kokolata Beach (time 27:36): In the Log House at E-2, the party talks to Shinon. They deliver the Toad Oil and the Ancient Dragon Bone. Quest 263 complete! The party earns 5 pieces of Faerie Fluff (妖精の綿花). The Pendulum of Fate gains power. The party goes outside and rests at the inn. In this video, he will do some more grinding. Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Bastok. He picks up a Merit Point upgrade. In his delivery box, he receives gil for a Pluton that sold at auction. Then, he heads out. Bastok Mines (time 1:47): At the auction house, Heorot puts another Pluton up for sale. Then, he teleports to Misareaux Coast, Tavnazian Archipelago. Misareaux Coast (time 3:01): Heorot arrives at Home Point #1 at G-5. Just up the hill, he examines the Undulating Confluence to enter Escha - Ru'Aun. Escha - Ru'Aun (time 3:39): Heorot arrives at H-11. After summoning his Trust NPCs, he heads north and hunts some more Eschan Il'aern. In the process, he gains some club skill. Heorot accrues 1 Job Point for a total of 43 Job Points. When he has finished for now, he uses the Undulating Confluence at H-11 to return to Misareaux Coast, Tavnazian Archipelago. Misareaux Coast (time 1:22:16): Heorot arrives at G-5. Just down the hill to the west, he uses Home Point #1 to teleport to Port Jeuno. Port Jeuno (time 1:22:49): Heorot trades his Crests to Shami at H-8 for storage. Then, he teleports to Bastok Markets. Bastok Markets (time 1:24:37): Heorot trades his Copper A.M.A.N. Voucher to Isakoth at E-11. In Mjoll's Goods, he sells his loot to Olwyn at E-11. Then, he teleports to Bastok Mines. Bastok Mines (time 1:26:27): At the auction house, Heorot sees that his Ice Cluster has sold. He puts a chunk of Eschite Ore up for sale. Afterwards, he enters the residential area.
