xset s off & xset -dpms &
If you want the screen to blank after 10 minutes of inactivity, comment out the two lines above, and uncomment the following line...
#xset dpms 0 0 600 &
NOTE: change 600 to a larger number if you want the screen to blank after a longer period of time. Such as, to make it blank after one hour, it would be 60 x 60 = 3600. So the line would be...

The winner of the "MiyoLinux T-shirt Giveaway" is finally revealed and announced! So very many thanks to everyone who participated! :)
The supposed views expressed by Linus Torvalds, Richard Stallman, President Donald Trump, and Austin Powers (in reaction to the supposed questions posed by me in the video) are in no way meant to be taken seriously and are only meant as parodies...just having a bit of fun at my own expense...'cause that's the way I roll. :)

This video shows how I'm now playing online radio stations.
I'm still using ffplay to play online radio stations; however, instead of the terminal opening on the desktop, it now goes straight to the system tray instead of taking up space on the desktop or panel...thanks to the "alltray" package.
I've also incorporated the alltray custom menu option to allow the user to "stop" the music without having to open the terminal and then close it. It's stinkin' fantastic! HAHAHAHA!
