A video that highlights the use of the Muay Thai teep or push kick by some of the best ever to implement this most fundamental weapon in a Thai boxer's arsenal.
The teep is used to create distance, control the pace of the fight, prevent an incoming attack, cause hesitation and discomfort, disrupt breathing, and even KO an opponent. The muay Thai teep is the most effective way to control the centre-line in combat sports and has been proven time and time again when Thai boxers like Buakaw, Kaew Fairtex, Kaoklai Kaennorsing and others have switched to K1 rules and dominated their opponents using this weapon.
Volume one features the following teep artists:
Anantasak Panyuthapum
Samart Payakaroon
Poot Lorlek
Nuengpichit Sityodtong
Saenchai

Kongnapa was a successful “muay matt” knockout artist active during the golden era of muay Thai. He held Rajadamnern titles at four different weight classes and amassed 140 fights during his career, winning 120 of them and knocking out 30 of his opponents.
Some of the greats on the receiving end of his Knockouts were Nampon Nongkeepayayuth (twice), Sombat Sor Thanikul, Panomtuanlek Hapalang, Taweechai Wor Pricha and more. He also won points victories over the legendary Namkabuan Nongkeepayayuth and Chanchai Sor Tamarangsi.
Kongnapa’s nickname was “The Exocet” – the anti-ship missile - due to the enormous power in his punches and kicks.
