Kayaking Wekiwa Springs State Park - Apopka, Florida
Wekiwa Springs State Park was the second Florida state park we visited on this day. We were in Orlando visiting Emmaline (and Sebastian) on our Spring Break tour with Molly. We stopped in Apopka, Florida for some kayaking. It was a very pretty trip. We should have planned to spend longer here and gone on the longer kayak trail and swam in the spring-fed pool! I guess we'll have to go back!

We finished up our first year of RV'ing last year. We just cranked up our second season. We learned a lot in our first year as new RV'ers. So far we are happy with all the decisions we made in our equipment choices. Our RAM 1500 Bighorn, Heartland Mallard trailer, and camera equipment have worked very well for us. As we get going this season we review everything. We also made a few minor upgrades to several things. We are ready to knock off a ton of Tennessee State Parks this year!

We went down to visit Molly in Chattanooga and decided to "See Rock City". Rock City Gardens up on Lookout Mountain (in GA) are pretty interesting. To think they used to be someone's backyard?!? It had been several years since we'd been there. The last time we went it was cloudy and rainy (but not today). Of course, everyone came hard with the 'Dad might not make it through Fat Man's Squeeze' jokes. LAME IMHO!!!

The Music City Bikeway is my favorite bike ride in the area. It had been a few years since I'd been biking on it and it called me. The last time I rode it I'd ridden my bike 1,500 miles that year. This time I'd ridden my bike 55 miles prior to riding the 33-mile trek. This is not advised! LOL Regardless, Preston went with me and we had a fun time seeing NashVegas! The greenway and bike lanes go from the west side of the city to the east side. We hit Centennial Park and the TN Bicentennial Mall State Park along the way. So 33 miles and 200+ years on this day! So. Fun.

While at Zion National Park we hiked the Pa’rus Trail. It is a pretty short easy hike. I time-lapsed the entire hike in 4K! We also swam in the most awesome waterfall (right on the trail)!
