FGC68: FGC9 MKII AR buffer tube thread in model replica for paintball
this model is based on the FGC9 AR buffer-tube mount

but you need this 3d model for the FGC68 to get the same look
this replica model is fully 3d printed made to look like the real version.
this work with the FGC68 tipx edition (MKI/MKII)
the stok works with a view remote-line options
PTC = Push to connect
RL = Remote line
SCRL = Slide Check Remote line
I would print this solid. in a 0.2 layer hight

this my latest shroud design and maybe even my last for the FGC lineup. but I have thought this before so who knows.
the 2 piece design makes it possible to make it less bulky then the older designs.
and the M-lok gives you a lot of options for mounting things

TURN ON: Print Tiny walls! I did my best, but it was really time consuming to make it totally solid in the inside... so some walls are tiny depending on the scale you make it in. so check your preview fist in you slicer, Before printing!
I have made a 1/6 scale these can be used for like those action figures that use the 1/6 scale weapons.
wall thickness 4, infill 20% should be more than enough. but use your own judgment on it
for the promoting the FGC9 it would be nice so see some fun time laps movies of this. or some crazy colours! be creative with it. or use the 1/6 action figures.
put it out there.

here do I tell a bit about a laser bore sight collimator for the use with paintball. were it will work for and how to use it. I think that this will be the most useful for first strike players. but I think that is could be helpful for magfed players as well that use round ball in lets say a more CQB setting. of to just get rid of left and right errors for a big part. but in both cases keep in mind that the paintball of first stikes will drop down so you need to fine adjust it later with actual paint/first strikes rounds

what does the MKIISD update mean?
the main update and why these are called MKIISD are that I took some improvements from the FGC9 SD and placed in the MKII shroud models that I designed. but keep in mind the are still made to just work with the MKII this is because the rail stands higher then the SD does.
so the magnet design of the MKII have been removed. and the SD style magnet have been added. the to install it is basically the same. but you will be using a cylindrical magnet with a OD of 5mm and 10mm long in size.
and wile I’m add it did I also add the grove that prevents the barrel from rotating

this new 2022 series will have the option of a bolt on top rail. (yes, I have gotten those requests over the years)
but the real reason I made it's that this shroud will soon also have a lower rail option. that is made possible by using different M3 bolts.
but more on that later
the fixed low rail version of the MKII and UNW low rail have been added as well

this update will improve the fitting of the barrel block. so the barrel should not have any play in it at this stage. also the installation of the trigger bar part is a lot more easy in this version. and also I took the time to update the MKI with some of the features of the MKII so installation should be a more easy like on the MKII.

I have updated it to a V2 model this will add 1 extra bolt hole so the rail is stronger

for this slim model did I remove the option for the bolt on rail
but you will have the option for the normal light or the UNW low rail hight.

the name 227 stands for the barrel length this is made for. but this is the same length as what
was called the M shrouds in the past like the: 2021 LB short, AK shroud, TEC9 M, LB short.
