7 Reasons Why Steemians Are Not DTube Creators / Answer To @NathanMars - D00k13 Digest #148
What up my Steemians, welcome to the @D00k13 Digest, I liked a question by @NathanMars so much I decided to do a video response after the initial written allowing me to dive a little deeper into my thoughts behind my response. Nathan asked "What do think the main seven reasons, why our fellow STEEMians are not doing DTube contents ? I mean not on a daily basis but at least twice a week." which I thought was a pretty insightful question and does help to bring value to the DTube platform through understanding the complications. I enjoyed his stipulation of 7 reasons which furthered the challenge of answering without overlapping my answers to much but still being able to link them to my own personal experiences as he said, what I think!
### My Answers:
1) Steemit is a blogging site and DTube was not part of the original vision, so preference in what they like to create.
2) Fear, having to perform in front of a camera related to a lack of confidence.
3) Tools available, many people may not have a camera to use or a computer to upload with. Also the edit software is generally complicated.
4) Skills, those who are not familiar with video editing will see it as a massive challenge they will first have to overcome.
5) Time, creating a video I am happy with sharing requires much preparation and effort plus the necessity of having the equipment with me.
6) Fake Personalities, people cannot hide who they truly are on camera so if they do not believe they can push that narrative of choice then creating a video they would just expose themselves.
7) Privacy, many of the Steemit users are what I call blank accounts. They are not showcasing themselves instead wish to showcase their creations and ideas without being directly linked to their ideas and creations.
## Remember guys DTube is a challenge but it is well worth it!!!

What up my Steemians, welcome to the @D00k13 Digest! Out for my working walk with Jerry it dawned on me today how my area, Landford, is quickly becoming the place to be in all of Victoria. Typically I like to find quiet areas for recording and this year specifically I am having difficulty finding those areas thus I end up in places like where I am in this video which I call "The Vlogging Trail". It is something to behold, watching an area go from being quiet to so busy I am having difficulty finding ways of getting away from the busyness.
Just a few thoughts on how it may be complicated being in the developing area but I do feel as if I am where I belong!

What up my peeps, welcome to the @D00k13 Digest, having the time off while my guys still out of town and needing some supply for my free time I decided to check out the only legal dispensary in Victoria and being blown away by the packaging I give my thoughts in this video of how I figure the future of concentrates and edibles to be complicated here in Canada. What a trip getting everything all properly packaged, the days of the ziploc bag are over!
All in all it was a good experience, pleased to have somewhere here that has full licensing with such friendly service. Little bit high pricing but that was an excellent doobie!

What's up guys, welcome to the Daily @D00k13 .... bahaha been a while since I wrote that, about the same time I last shifted my content creation towards any particular goal. I have been doing lifestyle content since the beginning of my journey into content creation. Though I will not be giving up creating lifestyle or freestyle content my focus for video production is about to change drastically!
Nothing is formally released as of yet, I am working on it again today taking my time to write things up the best I can to encapsulate everything I wish to include. The #DTubeSnap is my brain child and my content will be shifting to support it. Not through participation as I have done previously but by taking the reigns and leading our community to the goal. Just seeing if Stream Labs works on IOS while on a break.....
edit:
seems as if my audio is clipping due to either background noise(at work and very loud) or due to being too high of quality ? anyone experience this on iOS and know a solution?
Settings Used:
Video - 480p, 30fps, 1000Kbps
Audio - High(44.1KHz - 128Kbps)
Honestly I don't know what any of that means ? so next test I will be trying to decrease video fps & audio quality but increase max video bitrate as I did see the onscreen bitrate display fluctuating a fair bit... is that normal?
Next Settings:
Video - 480p, 24fps, 1721Kbps
Audio - Medium(44.1KHz, 96Kbps)
PS leaving this video up as record of my trial and error for future reference ?
