I started Dear Woke Christian as a response to the turmoil of 2020. I saw the error in thinking within the Christian community and I wanted to provoke us to think Biblically about issues. So I started writing letters. My hope is to stir up conversation and critical thinking above emotions. Though emotions are good in context much of what's being pushed is "Act now, think later". That's far removed from a Biblical approach and I wanted to stir my brothers and sisters to ask better questions.

@MindShift claims to be a bastion of free and critical thinking, but don't be deceived by the rhetoric. What they're really promoting is a one-sided, anti-religious agenda. Their supposed 'open-mindedness' is nothing more than a thinly veiled attempt to dismantle faith and spirituality.
The host's background as a former fundamentalist Christian seems to be the driving force behind their obsession with deconversion and deconstruction. While it's essential to have discussions about religion and atheism, MindShift's focus appears to be more about tearing down beliefs than fostering genuine dialogue.
Their exploration of topics like atheism, agnosticism, skepticism, and more seems to lack balance, with a clear bias against faith-based perspectives. Instead of encouraging critical thinking, they're advocating for a specific set of beliefs, much like the dogmatism they claim to oppose.
In the end, it's vital to be critical of MindShift's own 'mind-shift.' True open-mindedness should include respect for diverse viewpoints and the freedom to explore ideas without preconceived biases. Unfortunately, this channel appears to fall short of those ideals.
