Multiple Democrats have entered the 2024 presidential race, but the party has made it clear that they're sticking with Biden and they don't wanna risk him getting on a debate stage with another candidate. Pretty obviously why. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins joins me to talk about what's happening along with other issues. Farron, this is embarrass, this should be embarrassing to the Democratic party. I mean to say, no, we don't want, I mean, look, Robert F. Kennedy right now, as soon as he announced he was 30, 31 points up on, not ahead of Biden, but he was closing that gap. He's 31 on the announcement day. So don't put him on the stage. Don't let Biden have to answer any questions. Just let it rock on like a bunch of old, crazy people in charge of the US right now. It really is sad. And, I mean, just because of the fact that we know how things played out for the Democratic party in 2020. Biden was not doing great. South Carolina came along, saved him in that primary, switched the trajectory. Had that not happened or had it happen at a different date, Bernie Sanders likely would've had the momentum going into that. Same thing with 2016. And so what they're trying to do right now is avoid anything that could disrupt Biden. Right. And that would include putting him on a debate stage. You and I both know Bobby Kennedy personally. Right. Been a friend a long time. He's a wonderful debater. Like, he's super talented at that. And Marianne Williamson, who is also running, has really turned around the undeserved reputation she got in 2020, I will say. They tried to paint her as a kind of a kooky, nutty, but she's not. She is an exceptionally intelligent individual that also deserves to be heard. If Biden is gonna be your candidate, let him earn it again. Last time running against Trump, and I would've done the same thing with Biden last time. They put him in a cellar, they put him on TV every now and then. They didn't let him talk all that much because it would've scared the hell out of everybody. So right now though, it's almost like they're having a witness protection program. No, he doesn't do interviews, won't do any kind of press conferences, when he does it is a train wreck disaster. So along comes Bobby Kennedy with numbers like that right off the bat. And you gotta say the one thing he's gotta overcome, Bobby has to overcome, obviously the issue with the vaxxer issue. But I gotta tell you something. This is a guy that I've tried cases with over the years. He's been a close personal friend. I've done television with him. I've done radio with him. He and I have been to trial some of the biggest cases in America. The last one I tried was in West Virginia, a Spelter trial where we hit 'em for $395 million because Bobby and I were able to show that they had put these stacks of toxin, I mean mountains of toxin. It was revealed this week that special prosecutor Jack Smith, with the Department of Justice has issued a subpoena to both Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner. So come on down and let's talk about what happened on January 6th, and maybe even the days before and after that. So here's what's interesting about this. Much like Mike Pence, Jared and Ivanka are not accused of any wrongdoing with regard to the plot to overturn the election. Okay? There's plenty of other stuff, but that's not being investigated, unfortunately. But with regards to overturning the election results, based on what we know, Jared and Ivanka were not evolved. They didn't want anything to do with it. In fact, the day after the insurrection on January 7th, they actually threw a big party and nobody talked about what happened the day before. Like they didn't want to think about it, they didn't want to acknowledge it, they just wanted to go back to their, you know, Manhattan socialite lifestyle as quickly as possible. And then they ended up moving to Florida cuz nobody wanted them back in New York anymore. But they've been subpoenaed and, uh, we'll see. Right? I mean, honestly, there's not much more to say about this other than the fact that both of these people, Ivanka and Jared did testify in front of the January 6th committee. And so that's what makes the subpoenas a little weird because the January 6th committee gave all of their materials and evidence and everything over to the special prosecutor, like to the doj. So if Jared and Ivanka already testified in front of the January 6th committee, they've said what they know, right? Right. That, that would be the assumption. And if you had everything from them, you wouldn't need to subpoena them. So clearly Jack Smith has looked at the testimony of these two individuals from the January 6th committee and it didn't solve questions that he has. Now, that's not good for Jared and Ivanka, and that is something that I think most people that have talked about this story this week, they've totally missed that. You don't have to go and redo the same, you know, uh, questioning in an investigation if a different investigative body has already done it. Like you can use those same words, the same deposition, all of it. You don't have to redo it every time. The only reason you would call them back in is because you think you, they either withheld information or there were questions that were important, but were not asked. So there is more that Jack Smith wants from Jared and Ivanka than what the January 6th committee was able to get out of them. So That's what is interesting about this. Jack Smith has questions, and Jared and Ivanka are going to have to answer them. They didn't put up a fight to go and talk to the January 6th committee. We'll see if they put up a fight to talk to the doj, but I imagine this one's gonna be a little bit more intense because again, they already answered a bunch of questions, but Jack Smith looked at it and said, Uhuh, this isn't good enough. Well, in the past, what they wanna do is rent 'em. They wanna rent 'em. Amazon's into this big time. Yeah. That's, we don't need Jeff Bezos. I mean, he already owns the Washington Post. We don't need him owning all of our homes too. All our homes. You said there's whole neighborhoods, right? Yeah. We've talked about stories, I've done 'em with Ring of Fire about how these groups, what is it, the BlackRock? They'll come in and they'll buy up. Okay. There's this little subdivision, 30, 40 homes here. We'll buy 'em all. So they own their whole little community here. But we've seen this epidemic, and I've interviewed people on this in the last couple years, and it's happening more and more frequently that by the year 2030, it's projected, if it's not stopped, Wall Street will own 40%, 40% of the single family homes in this country will be owned by these nameless, faceless banks. And you have a. In seven years. Congress and Senate that aren't doing anything to stop it, except Jeff Merkley. Yep, Merkley. He says, let me call your attention to it. Also, in fairness, Adam Smith from Washington, Washington State saying, we gotta stop this, man. You're, if you're moving into the time in your life, when you're trying to acquire assets, you wanna own a home, you wanna have all this American dream start coming true. They don't have a possibility now. And this is getting worse. Yeah. And another part of it, the other side of it, even when Wall Street doesn't purchase the home, taking it away from a homeowner, they still drive up the price. Because we have homes all over the country selling for way above asking price. Just so the consumer can outbid the Wall Street bank. So you're paying 50,000 more. Than you should. Than the home's even worth. Because you are bidding against Wall Street. Yeah. And they've got endless money. Wall Street is like a flock of locusts. They're locusts. We've talked about this before, they're moving into every part of American life. They, it used to be doctor run hospitals, right. 10 doctors would run a hospital until Wall Street said, hey, we can make a lot of money by buying everything up. So they bought up 80% of all those hospitals. They bought up the healthcare industry. And now some cat in New York has to say whether or not you can have your appendix removed or have heart surgery. They're trying it with a legal, in the legal space. And I'm fighting like hell, having some pretty good success stopping 'em. They've done it in, you see these big startup, these optical plants, these optical massive structures. Go get your eyes fixed. They're buying up all the obstetricians. They're buying up the dental business. I mean, it's just, they are like locusts. And we don't have an FTC that has any courage, and we certainly don't have Congress or Senate that has any courage to stop it. They can, but they don't. Yeah. And then if they don't pass this legislation, again, we are six years out from nearly half of the entire home industry in this country, it's gonna be owned by Wall Street. Owned by Wall Street. Yeah.
