Performed by: Song Huei Liou, Ya Ging Ging, Sheng Horng & Sheng Yan – Tibetan Incantations: The Meditative Sound Of Buddhist Chants, released in 1998
Every one of the Buddha’s teachings is believed to reside within this one powerful mantra. It is repeated over and over again to invoke the loving and unconditional qualities of compassion.
According to the Dalai Lamai, Om Mani Padme Hum has the power to, “transform your impure body, speech and mind into the pure body, speech and mind of a Buddha.”
Tibetan culture tells us that to deeply know this phrase — to bring it into the very depths of one’s being — is to attain enlightenment.
Om
The sound, Om, is believed to be the primordial sound of all creation. The universe was created with Om and it holds within it all that is, was and ever will be.
Mani
The ma syllable in mani is associated with dissolving jealousy and the attachment to fleeting pleasures.
Padme
Pad is a syllable that dissolves our attachments to the many prejudices and judgmental notions we have while cultivating the quality of perseverance.
Hum
With the syllable, hum, we work to dissolve our attachments to aggression and hatred.
The Jewel Is in the Lotus
As you can see, this is a powerful mantra with a lot of meaning behind it. The one phrase that is said to sum it all up is this: “The jewel is in the lotus,” or “Praise to the jewel in the lotus.”
This is to say that within all of us is the lotus flower, it’s just covered up by a lot of mud and muck.

It was once thought that human brainwaves topped out with Beta, but there is growing EEG evidence that much higher brainwave states exist.
Once you get to 40Hz, researchers have dubbed this to be "Gamma". This is generally considered to run from about 40Hz up to 100Hz, though the classification is not yet set in stone as the debate around the existence of Gamma still goes on.
In short, yes, these states, far higher than traditional Beta waves are associated with ecstatic states of consciousness in highly experienced and developed meditators. We are talking here about people who have spent their entire lives cloistered in monasteries practicing meditation and mental disciplines.
If you were of an eastern religious orientation you would refer to these states as Nirvana, Samadhi or shamanic trance. In a more common manner of speaking they would call such states "Christ Consciousness" or "Krishna Consciousness".
Note: This meditation music is recommended for people who already have been meditating for a long time.
This track has "Universal Constant Technology" incorporated into it.
This means that in addition to the 40Hz entrainment waves within this track, there is a 1Hz wave. Since every frequency is measured in cycles per second, a frequency of 1Hz will divide evenly into any whole number and as such will not conflict with or create inharmonious wave patterns with any whole number entrainment frequency.
This 1Hz frequency has the quality of being exactly the one used in techniques of super learning, i.e., 60 beats per minute. This will enhance and compliment the dominant entrainment wave and add yet another level of effectiveness.
It's the one and only frequency you can blend with others that will not violate the rule of "never mixing frequencies".
