A bit of tweaking to the design produced this aircraft which is an improvement over the original. Actually, this is a pretty dull movie since I don't go into space and don't manage to crash it. This design was ultimately able to travel over 1000km and land safely, so it's a viable design for Kerbin and Laythe. Yes I know I kept saying Yaw when I meant Roll, it's hard to narrate while flying this.

SpaceX's 3rd flight of Starship was spectacular, even though it's the first such flight without any explosions. It was also a step forward for the space company making it a success, but far from a complete success as both booster and Starship failed to control themselves all the way to landing, and at least one on Orbit test - the engine relight failed.
The starship on orbit failed to maintain attitude during the initial reentry phase and this doomed the spacecraft to a fiery disintegration over the Indian Ocean.
Congratulations to SpaceX on setting new records - let's get some soft landings next time.

Many people have heard the story of how a small code error destroyed a rocket - the rocket was an Atlas-Agena B launched in 1962 and carrying Mariner I and the error is commonly reported as a 'missing hyphen'. However it's often misreported and I've always had questions, so I wanted to get to the bottom of the story and find out the real truths:
It's not a hyphen, it's an Overbar.
It wasn't a simple fat fingered typo by a programmer.
It required a hardware failure to expose the bug.
1950's rocket guidance technology was hella complicated.
The research for this took a long time but some of the important sources which lead me to the conclusion are detailed in my latest post at Patreon.

it's been 50,000 light years of uninhabited space, over 24 hours of travelling, and thanks to the power of video editing you only need to watch 10 minutes of it before I return to the more civilized regions to tell the engineers my stories and find some other ships to blow up for fun and profit.
Oh and I needed to rubberneck at the mysterious alien crash site.

The Theseus is desperately low on fuel, but, we're in luck, a civilian fuel transport near Aerilon has sent a distress signal. So it's up to me and my wingmen to respond and perhaps secure a fuel supply for our mothership.

Our launch schedule alternates between the Launchpad and the runway, we have the first Space Station component launching to remedy the overheating problems that the station is expected to have. WE also look at the kethane satellite orbiting the Mun and realise it's going to have waste heat issues too.

Star Conflict has been flying over the radar for the last year or so, it is essentially War Thunder in space. I haven't been playing it for a while, but they've just opened up access to an interesting new game mode which is more about free roaming rather than instanced battles. The feature is still in testing but I thought I'd poke my head in to this bigger universe.

I've got another appointment with Juni on Manhattan, and things suddenly go from bad to worse. We kill the local police, acquire a macguffin, get into some battles and then escape to Magellan.
