In the early minutes of Labor Day 2023, the SpaceX Crew-6 Dragon capsule re-entered the atmosphere over Florida as it returned from ISS. This video was tracked using RocketTraker and an 11" Celestron NexStar telescope, filmed with a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 4K @ f/10.

The launch was tracked using custom software and trajectory data supplied by FlightClub.io and filmed using a NexStar 4SE and Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 4K. Perseverance was tracked as it departed from earth using an 8" Meade LX200 Classic and SBIG ST-2000XCM Camera near Cape Canaveral. I also used a 24" Planewave CDK on the iTelescope.net network in California to track the spacecraft and perform parallax measurements with simultaneous images.

The STEREO HI2 optical train is a bit unusual because of the unique mission requirements, but this is what its lens flares look like. You have to compare apples to apples, against other HI2 images. That is why I checked other images when Venus was at the same angular separation from the sun, this flare always appears then, but that does not correspond to any particular location in space, just relative to Venus and the sun.

Checking in on GN 05.39.2, the "winged star" in Google Sky, to see if it has moved due to parallax from the earth's motion around the sun during the previous 6 months. If it's really a solar system and has moved it will no longer be in the same location as it was in September.
Here's the stacked, color photo of GN 05.39.2 from tonight's webcast, astrometrically solved. The KMZ file can be loaded directly into google sky:
