Why You Need To Understand Bitcoin And Litecoin Halvings | EP#126
Bitcoin rewards are halved every 210,000 blocks mined. Litecoin rewards are halved every 840,000 blocks. Why does this matter? It affects the price. Let's dive into how.
The current reward for miners mining blocks for bitcoin is 12.5 and it will decrease soon to 6.25. Litecoin is one halving behind Bitcoin so it's currently at 25 and will go to 12.5. This means there will be a much lower incentive for miners and traditionally many miners have stopped mining when this happens which lead to the supply to be lower while the demand stayed the same. This is meant to deal with inflation and allows the value to go way up as less coins are produced. Don't listen to me for financial advice, but do take note of this and realize that previous crypto value booms have happened after halvings and though it could be speculation one might conclude that it directly affected the value.
Again I am not making a prediction or advising you per se, but rather I am sharing this information which I personally am relying on for my investing strategy.
What do you think about this? Did you know this? Will you be investing in LTC or BTC? Will this change how you feel about these coins and the crypto market? Let us know in the comments below as we speculate on their values together.
With project Veritas being uncovered amongst all the other crazy political interference and censorship scandals going on, we need some legislation to set things right to protect free speech and liberty. Josh Hawley, a Republican senator has stepped up to the plate to introduce a bill that attempts to minimize the overreaching powers of massive big tech companies like Facebook, Twitter, Google, and all the other big tech companies that more or less have a monopoly on social media, communications, advertising, and search engines on the internet.
In this video, I go over the article I wrote about this issue and cover it point by point on video for those prefer to hear it and or watch it.

I spent some time discussing passive income, staking, masternodes, mining, DeFi, and more with Seth "MineYour.Biz" Estrada. Learn how you can start earning passive crypto today with a focus on mining.
*I accidentally used my webcam microphone, so my audio is awful, I apologize*
As Seth describes on his YouTube channel, his channel is part mining report, part video podcast, part instructional media, and part hands-on building/making/DIY learning. ALWAYS fun!
These are some of the questions we went over:
• Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
• How and when did you originally get into cryptocurrency
• Can you give us a brief introduction to what you cover on your channel?
• What are your thoughts on censorship on legacy platforms and are you using any decentralized social media platforms?
• Let’s talk about DeFi. What’s got you excited in the space?
• How are you making passive income with cryptocurrency?
• What are some of the misconceptions people have about mining?
• What are your thoughts on diversification or are you a crypto maximalist?
• If you had $100,000 to invest into an asset today, what asset would that be?
• So where can everyone go to learn more about you?
Check out https://www.mineyour.biz for more information about him and everything he has going on! You can also find him on many social platforms under @mineyour_biz.
Are you participating in DeFi? How do you make passive income with cryptocurrency? Are you interested in trying out anything we discussed? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below and don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe!

Privacy is so important and while there are coin joiners and private coins, many people still rely on mixers. Luckily there is now a mixer for crypto users looking to anonymously transact Litecoin!
As Litecoin Mixer reads on the homepage a Litecoin Mixer “is an automated service that helps you to make your Litecoin (LTC) anonymous by adding an extra layer of privacy to secure your identity while transacting coins.”
They do not store logs, they don’t collect emails or personal data, it’s completed automated to avoid human error, and you can still get help with uncompleted transactions. They have an FAQ included and it’s super easy to use.
If you’ve used the mixer for Ethereum or Bitcoin, it functions the exact same. You just need to input the LTC address you want to send to and then set the delay you’d like to have between your send and their send to help increase the privacy and improve the anonymity with the mix. Then you just send your LTC to the address they present, and it should go through with no issue. Now if someone were to check the Litecoin explorer, it would be very challenging for them to trace the origin of the transaction. It’s nearly impossible, but there is a slight chance someone with a great deal of skill and resources could track it down. Compared to regular transactions though, it’s much more secure and private.

I'm not selling you anything. It's as simple as that and I just wanted to make the point of stating that. I enjoy doing this and I do it because it's fun. I don't have a funnel to run you through, a course, a book, or anything. I may offer you my opinion on things I like, use, or review. I may interview someone thus promoting their platform, and you may not agree, but I'm not selling you anything.
Ironically I will point out that I do offer social media marketing services and that I do sell something, but I don't promote that here and it's not my main focus.

We need to take precautions and be accountable to our individual responsibility. Too many people hold the attitude now of “don’t tell me to look both ways before crossing the road, tell cars not to hit me.” This is the attitude of rejecting all personal responsibility and putting that on the shoulders of the entire collective which isn’t possible. It’s like saying I should be allowed to litter, but I demand that society at large keep everything perfectly clean, it’s counter-intuitive and if everyone follows that mantra, then it won’t be clean and if we enforce more that it falls to the collective to deal with, it will end up as an environmental cleanup tax that we all pay.
There is no way to void personal responsibility and not give up freedoms to an authority to deal with it instead. This is what always happens when you try to force that the collective is enforced while the individual reigns supreme.
This only lasts so long when the individual has eventually given up all their freedoms and realize that they are not caught in the traps they laid out and have no way out. The movement that we don’t need to take responsibility for what happens to us or that we shouldn’t need to show caution to what environments we subject ourselves to and to how we ensure our safety and security is absurd and dangerous. Wishing the world was perfect simply doesn’t make it so. There is a percentage of society that will be criminals, pedophiles, psychopaths, and more.
Wishing for a better world and or hiding the things we don’t like and pretending they don’t exist really just allows the problems to fester so that we would eventually need to rely on someone else to fix it who may manipulate that reliance rather than learning to deal with them ourselves.

Me and Jason Nelson sat down for a little over an hour to talk about various topics in the crypto and blockchain space. We cover LBRY, EOS, The DLive acquisition and much more.
Come along with us on this journey as we explore these various topics. This is the first installment in my series for “Creator Corner” where I sit down with other people in the space who are putting out content to discuss the various topics I cover daily with people from my side of the looking glass who deal with and see the same issues on YouTube and other platforms.
Jason Nelson runs Crypto Insights Journal on YouTube and I highly recommend checking out his channel and subscribing to him over there for some awesome insights to cryptocurrency and blockchain. He also does interviews and chats similar to what I do on my channel. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2yBCOwcoSYcJJK2NkY_gVg

The Steem witnesses recently came to a consensus that Steemit and it’s related accounts’ stake will be “freezed” and prevent them from doing several operations to protect the health of the Steem blockchain from Tron.
Due to uncertainty and talk of a token swap, the witnesses felt that Justin Sun acquiring Steemit with 70 million+ in Steem stake was a concern given that Steemit’s “ninja-mined” stake was only ever meant to develop Steem and not involve in any governance.
Yesterday I posted about the Steemit acquisition and a few users on Twitter made me aware that this had happened and wanted to make a video on it.
This is the announcement from the witnesses regarding freezing the stake: https://steemit.com/steem/@softfork222/soft-fork-222
This was Justin Sun’s response: https://steemit.com/steemit/@justinsunsteemit/open-letter-to-steem-community
Do you think Tron is going to hinder or help Steem? Were the witnesses too hard or in the right? Was Justin’s response genuine or to save face? Let me know what you think about this in the comments below and don’t forget to subscribe!
