The channel has hit 10K subscribers this week and so it must be time for a long ramble.
For those of you who prefer to jump to a particular point in the video, the timings are below:
Herbstluftwm: 08:08
Windows Update Disaster: 24:59
Internet Hassles: 32:16
As you can guess from the above, I'm moving on to look at Herbstluftwm and how I've configured it. I'm planning to live it it for the next month so this is first steps only.
From here I'm going to talk about how a windows upgrade attempted to bork my Linux installation before chatting about a (hopefully) positive step I'm making in my search for a decent internet connection that's suitable for live streams.
I hope you enjoy the video :-)

I haven't looked at MX for a while, so thought it was high time that I did. The distro has its roots in Simply Mepis and Antix, and like both those distros it's hard to criticize.
Whether you are a new or experienced user, MX has a lot to offer. A stable Debian base, a plethora or GUI configuration tools to make life easier, and a nicely themed XFCE desktop to get you started - KDE and Fluxbox options are also available for download.
I never cease to be impressed by this distro and would be more than happy to use it as my daily driver.
I hope you enjoy the video :-)

Parrot OS is s a speciality distro particularly suited for professionals and experts who either work in the IT industry or who are studying for a career in IT security.
However, it can be used by anyone. At it's heart it's a Debian testing distro which is nicely put together.
It's use case tends to be quite niche and certainly isn't in my field of expertise so this review just takes a look at the distro from the perspective or an ordinary Linux desktop user.
I hope you enjoy the video :-)

This is a look at my non-programmer attempts to install and configure DWM.
It's working well, although I'm manually patching most of the changes I've applied.
Anyway, see what you think :-)

ArchLabs is based on Arch Linux and can use Openbox as the default window manager. It is fully configured out of the box and features a simple menu-driven, but text-based, installer. The installed system looks great, uses hardly any resources and comes with minimal apps installed by default - although you can add some during installation.
Overall I'm very impressed.
