“O Tempo continua a mandar”, vem na sequência de uma exposição anterior intitulada “O Tempo é que manda”, quando comecei, em 2018, a apresentar trabalhos feitos a partir de materiais reciclados.

A cena repete-se e deverá repetir-se sempre, no que respeita a tudo o que se possa fazer para ajudar na preservação do ambiente.

O conceito de reciclar, no aproveitamento de objetos que são deitados fora, e transformá-los em arte, está bem presente nestes trabalhos.

Na maioria das vezes, uma ideia para um trabalho, surge precisamente, de um determinado objecto encontrado, independentemente do seu estado de conservação.

Infelizmente, ainda falta sensibilidade a muita gente, que por puro egoísmo ou falta de educação, deixa onde quer que seja, o lixo do que consome, mesmo que haja ali próximo um recipiente para o efeito. Esse ato ao repetir-se continuamente, não só influencia negativamente outros, como a nível global, põe em risco o futuro de todos.

"Time is still in charge", follows on from a previous exhibition entitled "Time is in charge", when I started, in 2018, to present works made from recycled materials.

The scene repeats itself and should always repeat itself, with regard to anything that can be done to help preserve the environment.

The concept of recycling, in the utilization of objects that are thrown away, and turning them into art, is very present in these works.

Most of the time, an idea for a work arises precisely from a certain found object, regardless of its state of conservation.

Unfortunately, many people still lack sensitivity, who by pure selfishness or lack of education, leave wherever they are, the garbage of what they consume, even if there is a container nearby for that purpose. This act, when repeated continuously, not only negatively influences others, but on a global level, puts everyone's future at risk.
