Using a Dupli Color paint pen for the first time to touch up paint scratches on my 1994 Corolla
The Dupli Color paint pen is a very well-designed tool for touching up chips and scratches in your car's paint, but the paint did not match very well in my case. My car was repainted but it was supposed to match the old Toyota paint. Your experience may vary.

I am always interested in finding new low-cost ways to provide for my food security. It is good to have a Plan B when it comes to the essentials of life. I think growing sunflower microgreens is close to the top of my list of having food security. I can't think of any other food I can grow as quickly and in such large quantity for so low a price in almost any situation.
For me and my situation, I am a big believer in having cans of bulk food from the LDS Mormon website that last 30 years. Number 10 cans full of food that last 30 years are wonderful food insurance. However, I think a large 40-pound sack of sunflower seeds and a windowsill or two to grow them in would be a close second.
I bought a 12 pound sack on Amazon.
Prairie Melody(TM) Premium Black Oil Sunflower Bird Seed, Pesticide Free, 12-Pound Bag https://amzn.to/3qw1B4i
I have also seen Pennington sunflower seeds at Walmart in a 40 pound sack that are cheaper. I was told not to buy them as they might have pesticides. I asked the company and was told their birdseed is not sold for human consumption but that it contains no pesticides.

I purchased a $13 Spy watch Video camera that takes video, photo and audio clips. In this video I go over the negative and positive attributes of the watch and also show a short video clip I took inside of a Wal-Mart
Pro
1. extreme low cost
2. looks good
3.extremely discrete
4. arrives quickly
5. synced flawlessly with windows 7
6. very decent storage capacity
7. no beeps. no lights while filming
8. thick rubber band comfortable
9. very simple to use once learned
10. will work after drying out if gets wet
11.video quality not good but not much worse than other more expensive spy watches
con
1. low quality video and photos
2. near useless sound
3. could not check waterproof ability due to lack of microphone cap
4. several video files lost-would not open
5. band clasp flimsy
6. band attachment weak
7. no way to replace band
8. instructions need magnifying glass and are unclear
9. difficult to aim to know what is being filmed
I will post a separate video showing how to operate the watch if you need to know. I did not want to make this video too long. The manual that comes with the camera watch is tiny and not easy to understand so the other video is very helpful if you already have the watch.

I am also thinking of how to use my old Kodak Playsport as a spy camera as I think I can use it and gain much better video and audio. I will post a video here after I do it if it works.
Finally, I have ordered another watch and when it comes I will be doing more testing of the waterproof abilities of the watch and if I have to I will make something to allow me to use the watch underwater and show a video of that too.
I have no connection with any watch sellers on the internet and do not get compensated for them in any way.
I had some trouble with the sound levels of the video. if it is too low for you I apologize, please turn up the sound on your computer.
Thanks for watching. I add new videos every week.

I rarely eat meat, mostly fish, but lately, I have been eating turkey chops from the drumsticks. They have a lot of small bones that are dangerous and need to be removed, but the flavor is wonderful, as good or better than any other meat. In this video, I simply slow cooked them in a cast iron skillet on the lowest setting on my stove starting with them frozen. I added hearty vegetables to the bottom to help prevent sticking to the pan and used simple Italian seasoning and dressing and Worcestire sauce as extra seasoning. Ordinarily, you would never cook frozen meat but slow cooked it works out great and the pan fills up with liquid and simmers all the marrow and goodness out of the bones and then as the liquid is cooked away the flavors are concentrated. It takes a long time.
I used Pavarotti for the audio and think his performance is amazing, even a person like me that does not like a lot of opera loves this performance. I saw and heard him give a live performance for free on South beach. Pavarotti was one of a kind.
if you like my musical cooking videos, I generally do one or two a month and have been doing them for years along with many videos on other topics. You can learn a lot by looking at the food preppers not only store but use regularly. These 39 items are short and medium food storage items that I use in my everyday cooking. Most of them are fairly inexpensive and nearly all of them are very nutritious or a very good value.
I have done other videos on my very long-term storage of bulk food items most of which I buy from the Mormons. They come in number 10 cans and are good for 30 years.
The items in this video are from Walmart and Amazon and have a much shorter shelf life but are eaten often and form the basis of many of my favorite meals.
Because nowadays we never know if we are going to have a continued supply of food whenever I buy my groceries I always buy more so I have extras of these in my pantry.
I also incorporate my long-term storage items into my daily meals but the items in this video are the ones that I eat the most often.
Except for the liver and cheese, all the items require no refrigeration. While most of them require preparation and other ingredients I have spent time learning how to get the best out of each ingredient and enjoy the cooking process. Also, most of these items are very easy on the budget.

If you are trying to figure out exactly how much food you will need for any length of time, Anne has charts that cover the most basic foods to help you prepare and gauge how much food you will really need to store plus a ton of other great info that comes from real experience. The key thing to know about the little fishcake gadget is that it allows you to form a pattie or cake with low cost fresh vegetables that will stay together in the pan without adding a large amount of a binder like flour or meal to keep it from crumbling. This improves the taste tremendously.
In this video I am making Chicken patties.
The ingredients for today were
one cooked chicken breast minced. optional
One minced medium onion
One grated baking potato , you can use regular potatoes
two grated carrots
one minced clove of garlic-optional
one handful of chopped fine fresh parsley optional
one egg- I have made it without eggs but with egg is better
1/3 cup of corn meal- you can substitute wheat flour
a large tablespoon of ground flax seed to reduce moisture-optional, you can also use bread crumbs
two minced extra fine stalks of celery
red pepper flakes optional
salt and pepper
I did not add any today but if you have mushrooms they work very well
Use low heat in a lightly oiled pan with a loose fitting lid
turn the patties as soon as the bottom is firm enough to flip. The secret is to cook in low heat that will cook the vegetables but not over brown or burn the outside of the pattie.
Baking is an option but you will not get the same great taste as when slow cooked in the pan.
You will have to turn them over twice.
You can use any fresh garden vegetable or greens, I would not use tomato as it has too much water. Ground flax seed or bread crumbs will reduce the moisture if your pattie comes out too wet. Use as little as corn meal or flour as you can to increase the falavor of the fresh vegetables.
The fishcake factory gadget lets you use all sorts of low cost ingredients to provide a very tasty meal while experimenting and having fun cooking.
I have also made a dessert with grated sweet potato, raisins, egg and sugar, corn meal, and cooked them in the pan with the lid on- they were awesome.
Finally, the cakes and patties made in your pan taste better after they cool down and are great to eat the next day cold out of the fridge.

I have been wanting to make a sail bike or sailing bicycle for ages. I don't know if I will ever get around to making one, but it is fun to see what other people have conjured up over the years to make a bike that sails. There are a couple of very expensive commercial sail bikes on the market in Europe, the Whike and the Rinox, but none are locally available. Also, there is a small land sailor called the Blokart from new Zealand that can be taken apart and put in a car but it does not pedal and is not locally available either.
I have been thinking it might be possible to take a cheap 3 wheel bike that folds and reconfigure it into a recumbent sailbike.
If I do make something I will be sure to post it.
Thanks for watching, I add new stuff every week.

I have been doing balcony gardening experiments with different plants for about 10 years now. I keep trying different plants to see how well they
would do on my balcony which only gets about two hours of direct sunlight a day. Two new plants I grew this year are grand rapids lettuce and a common local weed called Spanish needle or Bidens alba.
I had high hopes for the Spanish needle as it will grow in the cracks in the sidewalk along a city street. They grow wild in the field near the
canal and are frequently mowed down to knobs by the county maintenance tractor. I was surprised at how difficult it was to germinate any of the seeds and several of the plants died off as seedlings. Eventually, the largest and best plant developed downy mildew and I discarded it.
The second plant was recommended to me by a guy on YouTube who has a channel called poppa blue shirt.
He said to try the grand rapids let us. He was picking his repeatedly and they grew back so he was having a continuous harvest of lettuce.
I know it gets very warm down here and I was doubtful lettuce named Grand Rapids would grow well here in South Florida. Also, since I
only get two hours of son a day I was not suspecting very much growth.
To make it even more difficult for the lettuce I was only growing them in little containers that had about an inch of dirt. Surprisingly,
nearly all of the seeds germinated and only one of the four containers died on me. The rest grew slow but continuous. I was pleased with the lettuce. When the weather turns cooler this fall I will plant the heck out of this lettuce.
I want to thank pop up blue shirt again for recommending the seeds to me. Be sure to check out his channel.
I have quite a few gardening videos on my channel but for some reason never made a playlist of them. I am going to do that soon and when I do I will leave the link below. In the meantime you can find most of them on my prepping playlist.
