In the previous video I planned my air-traffic-free journey to the UK and Ireland. Here is how it went plus what I did there and who I met.
Summary: - The journey from Kassel to London was planned to take 9 hours and took 11 because of people of train tracks. It cost 95€ as planned. - The journey from Cork/Ireland back to Kassel was planned to take 33 hours and it did. It was planned to cost 358€ and cost 382€ including one missed and double paid ferry and 1st class from London to Kassel
This is the first road trip with the new 55 kWh ID.3 battery and CCS rapid charging.
Observe that the car underreports distance by -3.5% so it is really 350 km.

Today I present the BMS that I'm planning to sell. It has two accuracy ranges, +-5mV from 0-4.2V per channel and +-1mV between 3.6 and 4V. It has fail-safe 25mA balancing shunts that inherently can not bleed the cell lower than 3V. In active mode it draws about 5mA, in sleep mode only 40µA.
Communication happens wire a 1-wire daisy chain bus with automatic address assignment.

It was only a matter of time and the right people spawning: we are finally hacking CCS with some penny pinching hardware. I'm just replicating what has already been achieved, forum member uhi22 has already boiled some water with CCS DC power :)
