On 4th February 1932, Tesla wrote a letter to the New York Times, in it he described work that he had done and published in the late 1890s. In the letter, he describes particles that he both mathematically and experimentally deduced by 1899 that fit the modern description of neutrinos. He claims that they are responsible for radioactive decay.
