Welcome back Ladies and Gentleman, fellow Acolytes, today on "Gamer Skills - Cooking" we are going to make an easy and simple Cake with an absoulutely unworldly apple vanilla Filling! You're gonna love it!

Cake with Apple - Vanilla Filling
Difficulty: Apprentice
1floz. = 30ml
Ingredients:
Dough:
1 Medium to Large Egg
80g Granulated Sugar
80g Butter (let it soften for about 30 t o60 minutes before
starting)
200g Type 405 normal White Flour
8g Baking Powder (ready to use basically baking soda
mixed with reagent)
8g Vanilla Sugar or
1-2tsp Vanilla extract
Filling:
700ml Mashed Apples (if you want to use bits and pieces of
Apples you have to adapt the amount of mashed Apples
accordingly
300ml Milk or Apple Juice (juice makes the filling taste more
like Apples, milk will bring out the Vanilla flavor more
(also makes the filling more opaque)
~2 Pkts Pudding powder (like Jell-O French Vanilla) or starch
(38g starch for each 500 ml "fluid" so 700ml mashed
apples + 300ml juice/milk makes 1000ml so 76g

Crumbles:
150g Flour
60g Granulated Sugar
80g Butter
1tsp Cinnamon (more is always nice, but dont overshoot! its a
cake not the Cinnamon Challenge!)
Prep time: Approx 30 minutes Bake time: approx. 50 minutes
Dough: Combine all the ingredients and mix for about 2 minutes
Spread evenly into a greased Springform pan with 24 to 26 cm diameter (best with hands) and form a nice bottom and a little brim/wall (1 to 2 cm high) set aside.
Filling:
Put mashed apples (and apple pieces if you use them) into a cooking pot and heat over medium-high heat until hot to the touch and bubbling slightly, stir about every minute.
While heating the mashed apples slowly mix together the apple juice/milk and the pudding powder / starch) until evenly combined and not clumpy in a separate bowl
As soon the mashed apples are at the desired heat
Put the pot off to a unused plate and mix in your juice/milk - powder/starch mix. If the powder/starch settled to the ground, give it another stir, make sure most of the powder/starch left the bowl.
Put this mix onto the Stove again until bubbling slightly, stir well every 30 seconds. When the mix is bubbling let it cool for a minute
and pour it into your springform ontop of your dough.
