【4K】? Exploring This Wonderful Gorge in the Austrian Alps
Exploring a wonderful gorge in the Austrian Alps. There definitely are larger and more impressive gorges than the Johannesbachklamm in Lower Austria. But as you can see in my video, it nonetheless is a great place to visit. This about 1 kilometer long canyon cuts through a beautiful piece of nature.
On this day , was almost by myself when walking along the path and wooden bridges. And what's best: The exploring the gorge is for free! I had a great time. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIhFiGxMhVY

Taking a peaceful forest walk in early spring. Another short walk I recorded earlier in spring, when it was still quite chilly.
Nothing much going on here, just a relaxed and calm stroll in the woods. Walking in the forest in Austria is very safe. Occasionally you will meet a deer or a fox but to see big predators like bears or wolves you would have to be extremely lucky (or unlucky).
So sit back, relax, and just soak in the peaceful forest atmopshere.

Hiking in Austria is a great experience. On this beautiful day in mid March I went to the Kurpark in Baden near Vienna, a nice mix of city park and forest. The park is mainly a spot for the locals to relax and enjoy nature. However, for visitors its also a memorable tourist destination.
While the lower part of the Kurpark next to the old town center has a traditional layout and is surrounded by many historic buildings, the other part features a natural landscape covered by forest.
If you follow the trails leading up the hill you will eventually end up at the Theresienwarte, a lookout tower overlooking the whole city. What's special about this place is that this hill is basically right at the edge of the alps. From here you have a fantastic view of the lowlands stretching to the east, all the way towards the border with Hungary.
So if you happen to travel to Vienna and want to experience some nice Austrian landscape without having to go to far, Baden near Vienna is a great place for a day trip. Whilen Baden with its rich culture and historic town center is great for sightseeing, the Kurpark offers a little bit of adventure.

Forest hike in 4k: Covid-19 is still going strong in Austria. But the weather was nice and warm, and so I decided to going for a walk in the woods. I have never been in this place before and I was pleasently surprised by its beauty.
Luckily, I recorded this forest hike using my 4k camera. The place was dreamy, as if it came straight out of a fairy tale. The sunlight was breaking through the trees, the ground was covered with fresh green grass. Birds were singing and there was no other sound. The path led me downhill until I finally reached a small meadow with a calm brook running by.
I had a great time and I am happy that I can share this wonderful experience with you. I hope you enjoyed my forest hike in 4k, too!

Going for a city walk in the late afternoon in the Austrian city of Krems an der Donau. Starting from the city park I make my way to the Danube River.
Because of the nice weather a lot of people were outside, playing, walking their dogs, or feeding ducks. There was a very peaceful atmosphere in the whole city and you could feel that everyone on the streets was enjoying the warm spring weather.

Exploring Senftenberg Castle Ruins in Austria on a spring morning. The fortress was built in the 11th century and served as a sanctuary for the local population.
Climbing the hill takes only a few minutes. You can explore most parts of the castle ruins, except for the keep. But even without climbing the stronghold's highest tower, you can enjoy a nice view of the surrounding vineyards and villages.

Walking along the Yangtze river in China. I like to travel to the Yangtze because this mighty river is a great place for adventure and offers a lot of opportunities to explore daily life in China. You can see people doing their morning sports, going for the swim in the Yangtze, or just walk along the riverside to get some fresh air. Sometimes you can even watch brave swimmers crossing the whole river back and forth!
This video was taken in Yichang city in Hubei province which is located between Wuhan and Chongqing. It is not a famous travel or tourism destination and mainly known as the starting or ending point for cruise tours on the Yangtze. I like it a lot, though, because here you can really experience daily life in China without having to deal with too many tourists.
