Unchained Melody is a song best remembered by my generation from a little known movie called "Ghost"
Unchained Melody (The Righteous Brothers version) is a song that has stood the test of time and has seen many variations & performers taking on the song. When The Righteous Brothers version was used in the movie "Ghost", the record label that owned the distribution rights woefully underestimated the popularity it would have and copies sold out of the record stores quickly with back orders reaching into the weeks. Record stores, now there's a thing that has long since past.

Ok, I’m going to go ahead and admit that I don’t have a voice for country songs BUT I had to sing this little ditty as it was the most requested tune to date. I first did this tune when I was a youngin’ at Hershey Pennsylvania in a karaoke booth in a mall. When going up to the high notes, my voice cracked and I was embarrassed. Needless to say that while this song is a good one, my memory of it is not BUT I sucked it up and did it anyway.
I learned a couple of things:
1. Getting up this early makes NO DIFFERENCE with regard to traffic
2. I must turn my phone to “Airplane Mode” as I got a call in the middle of recording
I will say that I didn’t know what to think when, in walking out to the overpass, a skunk crossed my path. Hmmm….

Every Breath You Take, a song by The Police is etched in my head because of great songwriting by Sting.
Every Breath You Take was a song that came out during my high school years at a time when I was infatuated with a girl that I thought I would spend the rest of my life with. The song has an almost "stalker" quality to it and that's the way I felt at the time. It's funny looking back and thinking that I would have given almost anything to spend my life with someone who, now, I can't even remember her name (sorry). I have to laugh at my impulsiveness as it still carries over to my adult life and these words by Sting could have almost been sung again when I started dating my wife.
