Pokemon: Let's Go Eevee - Part 10 Clearing Saffron City
This is probably the longest video of the entire series as I opt to clear out everything in Saffron City here. We start things off by clearing the dojo. From there, we need to chase out Team Rocket, sending me into Silph Co, where I get somewhat lost. Then once Rocket is gone, we enter the Saffron City gym and take on Sabrina, the bane of many trainers in the original games due to how overpowered psychic types were. However, we have a new type in the game that wasn't there before that allows me to work over some of the psychic types, and it may not be the pokemon people expect. Sadly, that guy is going to be laying low until we are ready to take on the Elite Four... ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b57aFjdH83g
This video covers the start of the Trade Conference up to the lunch break's discussions. It lasted a lot longer than I realized, so I had to split the segment up. Here, we just have a lot of back and forth and dialogue. It won't be until the next part that the bombs start dropping, figuratively and literally.

We captured this for a mission in the past, but the time has come to bag the cat, so we need to give it a working over. I don't think I have the god charm yet that makes this quite a bit more tolerable. The goal is still the same in giving the claws/wings priority as Barioth loses traction without them, slowing it down. From there, use the new windows to safely target it and bring it down.
Barioth is one of the few suppliers of ice weapons should you decide to go the element route, so you may need to do this a few times. I didn't find any use for the armor set, but it is possible that there is something for a specific weapon type.

Another double monster hunt, and I'm not sure if there is a theme between the two other than the environment perhaps. Anyway, with the HR Nargacuga on the field, we have the opportunity to farm the resources needed to make the best Pierce LBG currently available in the game, and it will make quite a few things yet to come simpler. Additionally, you can use Narga parts to make Weakness Exploit decorations to further enhance the damage of your Pierce attacks. This is one of the monsters you will really want to farm if LBG is your weapon of choice.
As for Jyuratodus, he is just there. You can ride it into battle against Narga to try to speed things up if you want. Otherwise, just fill him full of piercing rounds and call it a day. Maybe when G Rank is available there will be something redeeming about this monster, but that day is not today.

I honestly don't know why they waited so long to release this event. The dedicated players were HR long before this, and a lot of the new players may have thrown in the towel before this came out. It would be one thing if these things cycled like in console events in the past, but since they are permanent, I think the low rank stuff should have been given priority.
Anyway, for the stage of the game I am at, I have the firepower and durability to shred these. There is little that they can do, so they get mowed down, I get a few novelty carves, and I'm on my way. The only thing you can get here that may help is if Magnamalo drops a plate. I don't think Goss Harag has a rare drop in LR.

It took over 2 hours to talk to everyone inside of the city, not counting grabbing the berries for Oscar, so I had to split it into two parts. In the event you missed any books or recipes, this is your chance to get them (newspapers excepted). For this part, we largely stay in the north and east sides of the city, and in the next one, we will hit the south and west sides. Luckily, unless there is a patrol needed for the post game, we should only need to do this once.

The new major undertaking in visual novels is going to World End Economica, which was recently completed on Steam with the release of the trilogy's conclusion. I have acquired all 3, and will be doing them over the course of the next couple months. Since I don't know how long it will take for all of them, I can't give any estimates as to when this will be completed. I intend to aim for around 1 hour per video unless there are better break points to be found within, but there is no telling.
The game is set on the Moon, with a society that revolves even more around money than the present day one. Our MC is an amateur trader who is abandoning his normal livelihood and everything that comes with it for independence in his desire to reach the frontier. What all this costs him will have to be determined as we go.
Now, I do not know if there are any decisions to be made here, but it is possible that any will not be encountered until the final part of the trilogy. Additionally, to my knowledge there is no romance/dating to be found here (I prefer VNs without this to be honest), which may be a let down for some. Since we're very early in the game, we have yet to meet the full cast of characters, let alone determine how they all interact with each other, so that is something we're going to have to deduce as we go.
As for the conclusion of this video, I didn't really want to leave it on a cliffhanger, but I was a little pressed for time to get this out for Christmas Day, and I don't know if there are better break points to be had. So on that note, we're wrapping things up here for today and we'll be returning soon to move forward with the story.

This is the last war room map that I had recorded in advance, so anything beyond this point will just be a request.
The enemy here is Kanbei who is pretty dangerous in a direct fight. In the first game, Max can match him blow for blow, but Kanbei will be buffed in the next game while Max is nerfed, so it will play out differently there. However, we are free to exploit the first game for now.
The strategy here is to secure a forward outpost to use to stage our attacks. That means we need to fly an infantry over and seize the base immediately while Kanbei moves out at a slower pace. From there, we need to send out some battle copters to cripple his capping infantry to limit his economy and prevent him from getting a similar outpost. If you can prevent him from developing a front, he is much more tolerable to deal with.
Now, he will build a lot of anti-air units as long as you have at least one aerial unit. I use this to my advantage by having the copters, but making a land force revolving around tanks. My tanks can tear through his anti-air, basically causing him to waste funds that could be better used and he has to forfeit ground accordingly. From there, we just punch into his base and I have options between rout and cap. Overall, I think rout is a little faster here as there is no guarantee he will ignore the capturing infantry's approach.

Normally I am not excited by Rean's segments, but the pain here is lessened by the return of Emma. Sadly, I don't have the quartz available at the moment to take advantage of her immense magical strength, but we can get pieces here and there going forward. Otherwise, we return to Nord and get to travel that gigantic area on horse back and retread some ground we have not covered in some time. However, before we can bite into the larger scenario playing out, we are summoned...

I don't recall if they ever revisited the concept of having some kind of natural disaster taking place on a map beyond some kind of dust storm in Dual Strike. Anyway, you will see the first attempt at it here where Jess faces off against Hawke around an active volcano. There are maps online where you can see the locations of the lava falling, which is just two patterns that alternate by the day. Interestingly enough, the AI will navigate around lasers, but they continuously hit the volcano tiles here.
Anyway, the map here isn't too difficult. Due to how the cities are positioned, it is actually pretty easy to heal off Hawke's CO and Super power. In fact, it is to such a degree that you don't even really need Jess's resupply ability either. The goal here is to get the cities that you can to develop your economy then just run him over with overwhelming force. As Jess, you have a minor bonus to both tanks and indirect units, so you have a lot of options in how to go about dealing with him. It is kind of odd that the volcano map is actually so straightforward...
