Check out a time-lapse of the process I use to make stunning Geode Resin Coasters. These resin coasters use alcohol inks, acrylic paints, pigment pastes, and pigment powders to make gorgeous effects in geode resin art. In the center, I use rhinestones in my resin geodes. Also included is the demolding of my geode resin coasters, as well as a reveal of the final resin geode coaster set. #Shorts #ResinArtShorts #ResinGeodeCoasters ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OzfcDM7I_yI
This video is a time lapse of key moments in the creation of this commissioned piece. During the video, I explain my resin art process used for this piece and give a few resin art tips and tricks along the way. This piece is large, at 4ft by 5ft and will go above a clients beautiful fireplace. The fireplace is floor to ceiling bronze so this piece is perfect for bringing color to the decor. The colors turned out gorgeously vibrant and I had such a blast creating this piece.

This is my newest piece, titled 'Infernity' because it looks like an eternal inferno. It is the largest in my collection, 4ft by 6ft. The canvas is 1/2 inch thick MDF board, cut by my friends at the Home Depot. Other materials used were acrylic paints, alcohol inks, Pearl Ex pigments, attom tech pigments, spray paint, envirotex lite epoxy resin, and a heat gun. (Many products linked below.) This piece took 4 days to complete.
It will be available on my Etsy (link below) soon. If you would like to order a custom piece, contact craftelotbyresinness@gmail.com

Day 2: Gold detail painted on base. First Resin layer poured. Heat applied to create a effects.
Day 3: Second Resin layer poured.

In this video, we break down how to make 3D flower resin coasters! The process is simple and fun and we make each step manageable for even the most amateur of resin artists. Have fun and let us know how your coasters turned out.
Materials used for 3D Flower Resin Coasters:
Silicone Measuring Cups and stir sticks: https://amzn.to/3g3rwL4
Heat Gun: https://amzn.to/3silmLH
This is a wonderful affordable option for a heat gun to use when doing resin art.
Wagner Heat Gun: https://amzn.to/2VVnTzO
This is the heat gun I use.
Embossing Powder (red) https://amzn.to/3iMkTyf
Art Pro Epoxy Resin https://amzn.to/3jSy9ks
White Pigments:
White Castin' Craft: https://amzn.to/3shAkSc
White Allumilite Dye: https://amzn.to/3COipr3
White Counter Culture DIY Armor Art Pigment: https://amzn.to/2VSyo6K
Silver, Gold, Copper Leaf: https://amzn.to/3CHbn7w
NicPro Pigment Kit: https://amzn.to/2VUG5ck These are some of my favorite pigments to use in addition to the white resin used in this pour.
NicPRo Resin Art Kit: https://amzn.to/3iLUwsk
This kit includes epoxy resin, resin dye(pigment), mixing cups, stir sticks, a silicone mat and more! The only things you would need in addition to this kit are embossing powder and metal leaf. The kit even has white pigment dye which would work for the white resin portion of this pour.

For this video, I mix alcohol inks into epoxy resin. Like multiple other projects I have completed, I planned to pour over a piece of glass and frame. However, I create a SNAFU this time. Somehow, the resulting product comes up much better than I would have expected after such a devastating fail! Check it out and remember there is no such thing as messing up in art!
Alcohol ink and epoxy resin over glass produces some amazing effects, as you will see in the video.
Would love to see your projects if you decide to attempt this!
Sit back, relax and enjoy while I mix alcohol inks in epoxy resin. In this video I put clear epoxy resin on top of a piece of glass and then dripped alcohol inks of various colors into the resin. The alcohol inks expand creating beautiful effects in the resin. After dropping the resin I torch different areas of the peace (I know, it's piece, but peace seemed appropriate) to create really neat effects.

DIY ROOM DIVIDER for under $15, no power tools needed! *DIY GLAM*
Materials:
NOTE: These materials will add to more than $15 because they are links to online products. If you shop around at Walmart, you can find these materials dor cheaper. However, having the materials delivered will not cost you much more. You pay for convenience people!
Command Medium Wire Hooks: (approx $8 online) https://amzn.to/35wnaVr
Clear Hanging Wire: (approx $3 online) https://amzn.to/34BM9W8
I used fishing line for my divider, however, I like this product more. It is still cheap, holds up to 50 lbs a, is invisible to the naked eye, and the description says it is self-tying. If you order this, let me know how it works for you!
Hanging Rod: (approx $13) https://amzn.to/36PeNVb
I got mine at Walmart for less than $5
Curtain: (approx $4) https://amzn.to/2EuLnQ6
Walmart has great prices on curtains. However, if you check out the link, you will be directed to Amazon. Amazon has an amazing selection of colors, styles, patterns, etc. and who doesn't love 2-day delivery!?!
Tools:
For the most part, these tools can be found around the house already. However, if you are missing any of them, here are the links:
Tape: https://amzn.to/2YVzOL9
Ruler: https://amzn.to/35wuRej
Small Metal Screwdrivers: https://amzn.to/2RZx91v
Torch Lighters: https://amzn.to/34wVmir
If you decide to paint your command wire hook bases:
Paintbrushes: https://amzn.to/2EtJpze
Paint: https://amzn.to/35wO2UZ
Nobody wants to spend hundreds of dollars on a Room Divider. I needed a way to divide my craft area from the rest of my bedroom. Lawd knows my craft area is a mess when I am in the middle of a project, which is most of the time! If you are like me, a divider is a perfect solution to hide the mess. Get creative and pick a patterned curtain or bright color! Pick an over the top hanging rod and glam up your space a bit. You could even make a curtain out of a beloved fabric if you really want to get fancy! This divider is easy to remove and you do not need to drill any holes in your wall to install. Using clear fishing wire gives the divider a floating appearance, which I love!
Please post pictures if you attempt to make your own! I cannot wait to see what everybody comes up with!
